A journalist has been killed in an Israeli army attack on Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.
That brings the total number of media workers killed in Gaza to 240 since the start of the war.

00:00We're just getting some breaking news now that a journalist has been killed in an Israeli army

00:05attack on Nasser Hospital Complex that is in Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

00:10And that brings the total number of media workers killed in Gaza to more than 200 since the start

00:17of this war. Al Jazeera's Hinn Khudari is live outside the largest healthcare facility in central

00:26Gaza. That's the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deralbala. It's not very far north from Khan Yunis. Hind,

00:31what have you been able to find out just in the last few moments since we learned of this killing?

00:40Okay, so the attack started, took place in the past couple of minutes where the Israeli forces

00:47exploded a suicidal explosive drone. And this is a very small drone, more like a quad captor,

00:53and it targeted the upper part of Al-Nasser Hospital, especially the rooftop where a couple of

01:01journalists were actually standing over there. And one of the journalists, he's a cameraman,

01:12his name is Hussam al-Mosri and he's a cameraman. He was killed in this attack. Now what happened is

01:20after the first attack took place, a lot of civil defense teams, medical staff went up to rescue

01:27and to retrieve the bodies of those killed and injured. And then another attack took place in the

01:32same exact place where now there are reports on more casualties. Another two journalists at least have

01:39been injured in the second attack. And according to the local witnesses there, there were two attacks in

01:47the past five minutes took place in the same exact place. Now, let me remind you that this is not the

01:53first time the Israeli forces target Al-Nasser Hospital. The journalist Hassan Slayeh was actually

02:01killed inside the hospital after the Israeli forces targeted the hospital a couple of months ago.

02:07So we're seeing a lot of targets against Palestinian journalists, against the medical facilities,

02:14against hospitals across the Gaza Strip. And this is continuing every single day. Now, the story did not finish

02:20because there are a lot of more Palestinians still injured. We do not know who has been in this attack,

02:28but at least three journalists have been affected in the past attack on Nasser Hospital.

02:33Hinde, as you speak, we are watching the footage of the immediate aftermath of that attack at Al-Nasser Hospital.

02:40That's in Khan Yunus, the southern part of the Gaza Strip, where a cameraman, Hossam Al-Masri,

02:46has just been killed, as Hinde was reporting, by an Israeli suicide drone.

02:54And a reminder to our viewers that this comes just barely two weeks after an Israeli targeted attack

03:02murdered four Al-Jazeera journalists, including Anas Al-Sharif. And that was in the compound of yet another

03:08hospital. At that time, it was in Al-Sharif hospital in the northern part of the Strip.
