00:00Well, after a hot summer and uncharacteristically humid for the folks in Northeast Colorado, we're finally going to start to see a little bit of a change in the weather. We'll call it a preview of fall here as we get into late August. Cold fronts kind of started working through in series starting late on Thursday and then that has brought the cooler temperatures through Friday into the weekend and we're going to see these temperatures extend as we get into next week. Friday was the big transition day for us. We saw temperatures starting off at the lunchtime hour.
00:29In the mid 80s for a lot of folks along the front range, even down into the 90s as far south as Pueblo. But the big first push of cool air started to work its way through Friday afternoon. That bringing a gentle north breeze and temperatures falling throughout the day, dropping all the way into the low 70s on Friday. And that's basically what we're going to be looking at as we head through the weekend into early next week. A fall preview, if you will, as temperatures will be about 10 to 15 degrees below the historical average Denver seeing that temperature.
00:59Right around 87 degrees right around 87 degrees. You're going to be looking at low 70s. Few folks might even not get out of the 60s depending on cloud cover and precip. With the cooler temperatures, we're going to be looking at some rain chances off and on through the weekend into early next week. Some heavy rain potential mixed in there as well. So concerned we could see a little flood potential in some of the areas along the front range as we get into early next week. A severe storm or two is certainly not out of the question, particularly Sunday into Monday. We could be looking at that threat, but nothing overly high for this time of year.
