00:00When you take into account like just the human element and like the emotion of a Ryder Cup,
00:05it's like, gosh, if I was a captain, it would be so hard not to pick myself and not to like
00:10want to go out and win a Ryder Cup as a player captain. Can you imagine like what that does
00:15for your career? Like that's that's an incredible opportunity. And it'd just be hard not to do that.
00:22Do you think there's more pressure, Kyle, on the Americans and the European side to win this?
00:30I think the the Americans, the it seems like there's just the European side.
00:40You know, they talked a lot right after the a lot, you know, a lot and too much.
00:45And I think those American dudes are going to forget about that.
00:48I'm sure the highlight reels are going to be plentiful to for these guys to be motivated.
00:53But it seems this this is like the one goal for that these guys have is win majors and then win away Ryder Cups.
00:59That is that is kind of the benchmark that these players are trying to hit now.
01:03I think there's more opportunity for the Europeans. Right.
01:06Because I think that, you know, you look at somebody like Rory and it's like, man,
01:12Grand Slam winner potentially wins two away Ryder Cups.
01:16He'll eventually captain a Ryder. Like there's some real opportunity there.
01:21But I think there's more there's just so much pressure on the home Ryder Cup team
01:25to not I mean, because I think one of the narratives has been like, yeah, you win at home.
01:31And like if you take a shot on the road and get close, like that's really impressive
01:35just because of the way that set core setups have gone toward the home team recently.
01:42So I do think I don't know if it's if that pressure is on the players, though.
01:45I almost feel like it's more on the the team leaders, the vice captains, the captain of like, hey,
01:51don't blow this, especially as a as a betting favorite at home with the best player in the world.
01:58That that just feels like, yeah, I think that's a lot of pressure.
02:01So I think that's a lot of pressure.
