00:07It's so fun to talk to, and this guy, when he gets in match play mode, not the nicest

00:13guy in the world.

00:14This guy, this guy goes full laser beams, like I don't know if psychotic's the right

00:19word, but he wants to, he wants to kill you if he's playing you, and I think that's such

00:27a great quality to have as far as your competitive spirit.

00:30I mean, we heard the USA chants last week.

00:32You're pumping up the crowd like it's a Ryder Cup last week in Denver, and I love that you're

00:37already in this mode, because I want to talk to you a bit about you being the Ryder Cup

00:42captain, and potentially even the President's Cup vice captain or player, how much, you

00:48know, you're going to have to either cater down a little bit towards, you know, being

00:52a little bit more even-keeled as a captain, or are we going to see, like, the Luke Donald

00:57handshake right before the first round and just be like, sorry, pal, and we know you

01:02and Luke are buddies, too.

01:04Well, I think it's really important to be authentic as a captain, as a vice captain

01:09or a captain.

01:10I think any time you try not to be yourself, it doesn't come off right to the team, so

01:17certainly, you know, as a captain, you have to have a certain amount of poise and, you

01:22know, strategy to how you act, but I also am going to be myself, and I think one of

01:27the reasons why they've chosen me to be captain is they want a little fire.

01:32Like, this Ryder Cup with Beth Page is going to be insane, and, you know, the boys, they're

01:41all, most of the guys on the team that will be on the team, they're such level-com guys,

01:45and I love that about them, and I think I can bring a different side of, like, you know,

01:51a little bit more fire, a little bit more, like, getting the guys going, getting the

01:54crowd going.

01:55Have you seen Old School?

01:57Yes.

01:58You know, when Will Ferrell's in his underwear in the locker room, and he's throwing chairs,

02:03everybody's got to keep their composure.

02:06That is what I'm picturing Keegan Bradley's, like, Photoshop his head on, like, right before

02:11we go out.

02:12I got to speak to Xander after he won the British Open, a second after he walked off

02:17the green, and he was talking to me and people like he just finished a practice round.

02:22It was bizarre.

02:23I, like, after I win a tournament, forget about the British Open, you know, you're so

02:28jacked up, and he's talking to people and me as if we just ran into him off this green

02:35right here.

02:36It was, so these guys, they're such good dudes, and, like, I look forward to being

02:42their captain.
