Carly Pearce caught up with Lindsey Stirling on the red carpet at the ACM Honors 2025.

00:00All right, I am here with Carly Pierce, and you are hosting for the fifth year in a row.

00:05Congratulations.

00:07Do you have any advice for Russell Dickerson, your co-host?

00:11He doesn't need any advice.

00:12He is the life of the party.

00:14We have been really good friends for years, so I honestly just feel like if he,

00:18which I know he will, I don't even, I don't need to say if.

00:21He's going to bring it, and he's going to be an awesome co-host.

00:24He seems very excited.

00:25I just chatted with him, and he's very, I think he feels very lucky to be hosting with a friend.

00:29Oh, same.

00:30That's really cool.

00:31Yeah, it's very special.

00:32So what do you like best about hosting, and what is it that keeps you coming back year after year?

00:36I feel like this award show has become my baby.

00:39I feel really precious with the music industry and the country music family,

00:46not just the artists on stage.

00:48Obviously, that's a big part of it, but honoring the people behind the scenes,

00:51I feel very, very, I feel like we have to do that because there are so many people

00:55that make our career go around that people never see, or the champions, or all the things.

00:59And honestly, I'm really enjoying hosting.

01:03I feel like it gives me a challenge.

01:06It's always something that I've wanted to do, and to be able to do this for five years,

01:08and kind of like, at this point, it feels like a little bit of my ownership in it.

01:13I really take it seriously, and I'm having a great time.

01:16Well, you're really good at it.

01:17You're very natural up there, which I think is,

01:19it's cool that you get to lean into a whole different chapter of success for yourself.

01:23Same.

01:23I think so.

01:24Yeah.

01:25Okay, so you just got a new tattoo, I hear.

01:28I did.

01:28Can you tell us about it?

01:30I got a matching tattoo with my band.

01:32And we got little horses because we're show ponies.

01:36And 6133 is our bus number, so.

01:38Oh, I love that.

01:40Very special.

01:41Also, I see you have a hummingbird.

01:43I do.

01:43I have a hummingbird and 29 and the Grand Ole Opry.

01:46So I'm just, I kind of am, like, tatted up now.

01:49I love it.

01:49You know what, I noticed the hummingbird because that's one of my angel signs.

01:52And so you're my angel sign for the day.

01:55I love that.

01:56I believe in that.

01:57I believe in Godwinks for sure.

01:58Godwinks.

01:59That's exactly it.

02:03Okay, you and Jordan Davis recorded a duet, Mess With Missing You, for his new album.

02:08Can you tell me about that song and also your friendship?

02:11He's another one that I've been friends with for over a decade.

02:13And he and I wanted to sing it together for a really long time.

02:18And he sent me this song, and it's such a big song.

02:21Like, Jordan knows how to write a hit song, and I feel so lucky to get to have this song with him.

02:25And it's a very relatable song, and it's, I think, going to be a big one for us.

02:30So I'm excited.

02:31Wow.

02:32I have a good feeling.

02:33You have a good feeling.

02:34You know, and that intuition, I feel like, is usually pretty spot on.

02:37I feel really good about it.
