00:00Hi. Being out at HTC at East Mainz on the eve of a European tie always feels a little bit
00:08calm before the storm. Which can be a bit deceptive as well because behind us there
00:15there is so much work and so much preparation going on into preparing this team for a formidable task
00:23in one of the biggest European ties Hibs had faced in years. Lydia Warsaw at home tomorrow night
00:34just positively crackles with excitement and joy and possibilities and a little bit of trepidation
00:41because this is a team who reached the conference league quarterfinals last year. They have their
00:49issues. They are very strong but they have their issues. So it's that perfect European challenge
00:56isn't it? Where they're a fairly big name as it's been so far. Partizan in Michelin is a fairly big name
01:03formidable challenge but you kind of fancy that Hibs have a chance more than a chance. Hibs are now on this
01:12Thursday Sunday Thursday Sunday carousel which makes a lot of sense out of their decision to
01:17postpone this weekend's game against Falkirk because at the moment it just seems to be bang bang bang bang
01:22game game game not much time to work with players new players or existing players on
01:30the bedrock of stuff that you want to to be part of your system and how you play.
01:34Fortunately David Gray keeping most of the squad from last year together has helped that cohesion
01:40and I think we saw on Sunday I actually had the weekend off but still meant I watched every minute
01:45of the game on Sunday because that's just me and you know really impressed with how comfortable it was
01:50against Livingston and how well the new players slaughtered into positions of responsibility starting
01:57positions no surprise with Grant Hanley of course but you know the two new boys midfield attack just
02:04really really impressed with how they played loved how young Kanao Megwa played as well so I think
02:11that really speaks to the depth that Gray has built here and it gives him options it gives him options
02:18tomorrow night on how to combat specific threats from Ligia or how to emphasize which way he wants to
02:27play the game when you watch Ligia Warsaw they they're basically a 4-1-4-1 or a 4-3-3 a lot goes through the
02:35sitting midfielders depending on who that is I think Hibs are set up in such a way they could
02:41probably disrupt that build up and cause some real damage against them it's going to be an absolutely
02:50belting night at Easter Road I mean the atmosphere the last two European games has been off the hook
02:56this time a first leg so at least we can't get extra time there's that bonus um and most people
03:05would rather go away first home second but I think Hibs have been so good away from home I don't think
03:10they'll have a worry about it uh this way around and it's just going to be fascinating to see the place
03:17bouncing again against like you say a real quality opposition with a really strong recent European
03:22pedigree and see how they get on um we'll be bringing you all the news from here on you know
03:30injury updates it's Jamie McGrath it it's uh starting positions the options I mean I think we know
03:36it'll be Kieran Bowie Martin Boyle up front the rest of the team kind of picks itself in a lot of
03:40positions um is Nicky Cadden fit to start on the lefty stick with Jordan Obita who's done so well in
03:45there lots and lots of options uh keep tuning in keep logging on to the evening news and pick up the
03:52paper uh if that's your thing and uh we'll touch base again after tomorrow night
