00:00Adam Schefter report yesterday, Browns quarterback Shador Sanders suffered an oblique strain today,
00:05will not practice Thursday, and is unlikely to play Saturday first to fill it up the Eagles.
00:09You get the mojo, you get the good start, you want to build on that, and all of a sudden,
00:13you go to the back of the line, because if you are injured, you cannot practice, you cannot play,
00:18you cannot be in the game plan, and you cannot show your teammates and coaching staff and general
00:22manager and owner and fans that you deserve to be the starting quarterback in week number one.
00:26This is a setback for Shador, and it's an oblique, which means, Joe, that's torque on the football,
00:31that's throwing, that's what a quarterback does. You can't just go out and say,
00:34hey, you know what, oblique hurts today, I'll just go 50%. You can't do that.
00:38Big injury for Shador Sanders and the Browns.
00:41It's just totally unfortunate. Once again, the whole Browns organization and quarterbacking is cursed.
00:49Donnie, any which way you cut, I mean, how else do you look at it?
00:52At this point, this organization has been so ridiculously bad at figuring out who their
00:59quarterbacks are for a bevy of reasons over the years, and now you get a guy that goes 45 snaps
01:05in an opening game that has more hype around him than any quarterback you've had in a very,
01:10very long time. Things are looking up, and then what happens in some fluke injury in a joint practice
01:17with your Eagles with no full pads on somehow pulls an oblique injury?
01:24Like, what? You've got to be, you can't make this up, Donnie.
01:26Honestly, you just can't make it up.
