Barely any aid is entering the besieged Gaza Strip, as Palestinians continue to die from starvation.

Al Jazeera’s Ibrahim al-Khalili went to the Zikim area in northern Gaza and sent us this report on the challenges Palestinians are facing.

00:00I'm here today in northern Gaza City where aid seekers come on daily basis to get basic necessities for their families.
00:08We can clearly see behind here the trucks.
00:12Many people, tens of Palestinians are on the trucks, the aid trucks.
00:17Most of these men put themselves under danger.
00:23We can clearly see a very chaotic scene here as some Palestinians just pushed into these trucks trying to get whatever they can.
00:33And you can clearly see the situation. It's very chaotic here.
00:37Many Palestinians.
00:40This is a fight. This is a fight not for food but for survival.
00:46As you can clearly see, the trucks are coming from every direction.
00:51But people, due to the basic necessities and trickle amount of food coming in, they just don't get the sufficient amount of food they wish for.
01:05We were in the Kim area in northern Gaza.
01:08There was gunfire all around.
01:09We didn't know what was happening.
01:11People were dying in front of us.
01:13Bullets flying between our legs.
01:15We couldn't do anything.
01:16We got here to get a bite to eat.
01:19But we can barely make it.
01:20We are exhausted.
01:22We are dying.
01:23A piece of bread can now cost you your life.
01:28Our suffering is like war between hills.
01:31We were crawling on our stomachs, bullets flying between our legs, with the wounded and the dead all around.
01:37The dead were lying beneath us.
01:39We were pulling them out.
01:40I don't know.
01:41I just came here to feed my children.
01:43I have no money to buy food.
01:45If I had food and water, I wouldn't come here.
01:47What should I do?
01:48Steal?
01:49Loot?
01:50We call on all countries to stand with us, to stop the war, and to end our suffering.
01:55We can clearly see here, behind me, many air trucks are entering, but they are not sufficient.
02:04They are just a drop in the ocean.
02:06Not sufficient for hundreds of thousands of displaced, starved Palestinians who come here for daily battle.
