00:00I've been asking some of the older guys, too, you know, making that transition.

00:06I mean, obviously, this is your fifth season, so you might have those leadership capabilities,

00:10but what has that been, stepping into that leadership role, especially in a talented specialist group?

00:14Yeah, it's been awesome stepping into that role.

00:17You know, slowly over the last few years, I had Carson Battles before me

00:20and a couple of the veterans that have kind of paved the way, but it's been fun.

00:25Like, I love every single one of the specialists.

00:26They make my life easy.

00:28I hope I make theirs easy.

00:30But we're all just friends having fun, and it's nice to be in a position

00:33where there's some sort of respect there for being there for a long time,

00:37but they're also my peers, you know, and they treat me with respect.

00:40I treat them with respect.

00:42That's probably your last year running out of the tunnel.

00:45Some of the new guys will go out for the first time.

00:47Do you remember the first year, first time you ran out of that tunnel, Carson?

00:50Yeah, very first time I ran out of the tunnel was against Fresno State,

00:53and I think it was a little smoky outside because there were some fires going on,

00:56and I just could see the crowd, and it was, I think I blacked out like halfway through.

01:00Immediately I was like, I can't even believe that this is real.

01:03So I'm excited that guys like Rocco will get to experience that for the first time.
