00:00Carly Schoen has opened the Lunar Blue studio at the Wellbeing Loft on Franklin Street in South Shields.
00:05Carly launched Lunar Blue, a community interest company that looks to improve people's mental health through holistic creative therapy around 18 months ago.
00:13Initially just being a service for children and young people, Carly is now hosting workshops for people of all ages, including one lady who is 101 years old.
00:22Children can get involved with workshops that use arts and crafts to help them with things such as understanding and managing their emotions,
00:28whereas adults can get involved in sessions where they can enjoy a mocktail, a slice of cake and some arts and crafts.
00:34Carly is soft launching the studio over the course of the summer with all workshops set to be fully available from September 2025.
