Hebburn Town 8-0 Warrington Town

Reaction after Hebburn Town romped to an 8-0 home win against Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Warrington Town.

00:00So just leaving Hebbentown, it's been a remarkable day here in Northern Premier League, Premier League, Premier Division.

00:08They play Warrington Town who are struggling with injuries and are struggling in general this season.

00:14A lot of changes at the club, a great club as well, Warrington.

00:17A club I've got a lot of affection for after FA Cup runs that they've had in the not-too-distant past.

00:24Toby, the chairman, I've always got on well with Toby.

00:27But they did come a cropper here, to be honest, at Heaven.

00:34Heaven were absolutely unbelievable in front of goal today.

00:38Won 8-0.

00:40Olly Martin, who actually started the game as a substitute, came on and got a hat-trick.

00:45Gary Martin, Jack Foley, Matthew Elsden.

00:48Matty Elsden, I should probably say.

00:50I feel like I missed someone. There was an own goal as well.

00:52But just a remarkable performance from Heaven in front of goal.

00:57They were absolutely deadly.

00:58Every chance that they had, they put away neatly.

01:03The style that they played with, though, was very different to what we've seen in Heaven in recent seasons.

01:08We have had a lot of, at times, direct play.

01:11I think, obviously, they had Armar Pio while up front in the last few years, where it has gone into him.

01:18They've sort of tried to work from him as a base.

01:21But with Gary Martin, who obviously also scored, they have something a little bit different at the top end of the pitch.

01:27Not that Gary can't do that side of it, but they can work a little bit different with him at the top end.

01:33But they were just devastating all the way through.

01:36I thought Ethan Wood, in that number 10 role, as a more advanced than the midfield three, looked very impressive.

01:45I thought Robert Briggs, I mean, it's not a surprise to anyone that's watched North East non-league football.

01:50Robert Briggs just controlled things in the middle of the pitch.

01:53But I want to pick out a young player, someone who's come through the academy system or the youth system here at Heaven.

01:58And that is Liam Murray, another brilliant performance.

02:02And every time I've seen Heaven this season, Liam, even if they haven't won games, he's always stood out.

02:06Looks as if he's starting to take his game on to another level.

02:10But yeah, just all around today, Heaven, absolutely outstanding.

02:14Great day for them.

02:15And they need to build on this now.

02:17I think we've got Stockton away on Tuesday night.

02:19Stockton got beat today at home against Outlast in town.

02:24So that one now becomes a very big game for both sides for different reasons.

02:28Obviously, Stockton want to bounce back.

02:30Heaven want to build on this win against Warrington town today.

02:34So that will be a very, very interesting game at the Map Group UK Stadium on Tuesday night.

02:40But Heaven will go into that on the back of a stunning 8-0 win.
