A delay in the release of candidates contesting the upcoming THA election for the Tobago People's Party (TPP).

This comes following three separate days of screening that ended after midnight on Tuesday 18th November. Elizabeth Williams has this report.

Transcript
00:00According to the TPP, in the interest of maintaining a transparent and inclusive process, the party is inviting action groups and district councils to submit additional names for the Mason Hall Mariah and Buku Mount Pleasant districts.
00:17These submissions will be reviewed alongside the nominations already received. All recommendations should be submitted through the party's established channels within the designated time frame.
00:30The screening committee advises, however, it has successfully identified nominees for 13 of the electoral districts.
00:37These individuals will advance as the party's prospective candidates and are to be introduced to the people of Tobago after TPP leader Farley Augustine meets with all nominees on Sunday, 23rd, November 2025.
00:53The general membership of the party is also invited to a prayer and a consecration service on Wednesday of next week.
