00:00we can start out with chick shadow you sort of know what you're going to get with her she's an

00:04eight-year-old mare she's a deep closer she's very honest she likes to show up and run second and

00:10third and hit the board this is probably better than she's ever faced and this is also going to

00:16be a longer distance than what she's used to she's been used to running a little bit shorter distances

00:21i will say there are versions of this race where you could see it getting a little quick with a few

00:26speed horses in a small field but i don't know if this would be the closer i would be looking at to

00:32capitalize if it does go fast she looks like she's pretty outclassed in here she should get a good

00:37setup like you mentioned as we'll go through this compact field her last win though august 17th of

00:422024 at goal stream over a uh over the all weather so yeah i think if you're looking to wager on this

00:49horse it's king or for third or something the number two be your best is trained by saffy joseph jr and

00:54i always want to applaud him when this horse runs when skippy long stocking runs because one of the

01:00reasons why saffy wins a lot of races he finds great spots for his horses and this is another good

01:05spot for be your best scott she's coming off a grade one win in the gamely when she was classier

01:11than this field and it was a perfect spot he found a race where there wasn't that much early speed

01:16she went right to the lead she dusted that group and now she gets to come back here to another spot

01:22where she's super logical she actually doesn't even need the lead either she's shown us she can

01:27sit off the pace a little bit if someone wants to go out front i've just grown to really respect her

01:32a lot over the last year yeah she started out as a very good two-year-old for the horacio de paz barn

01:37had a dip in her career but saffy has kind of resurrected her if you will she really speed burn

01:43them last time she went fast early i don't think she'll be on the lead in here because i think she's

01:47gonna have to go fast again and have a little bit more contention up there right next door to be

01:52your best is beach bomb she's a south african bread runner and she is a group one winner in south

01:58africa a multiple graded stakes winner in the u.s she only has one bad race in the u.s of the seven

02:04races she's run um and that was a close eighth in the breeders cup philly and mere turf it really

02:09wasn't even a bad race this is a monster effort scott when she finishes second in the grade one new

02:15york right behind she feels pretty over a yielding turf course she feels pretty has been one of the

02:22better horses in training in the u.s over the last couple years i just think beach bomb is in fantastic

02:28form and she's a top player in here yeah that's the uh truth for sure top form you questioned her

02:34maybe a little bit taking advantage of a speed favoring turf course with loose leads at gulf stream

02:39her last two have been very good the question is can she uh you know win this race if she's not

02:44loose on the lead kind of the same question we're going to ask of the next one yeah she's been much

02:49better in those last four races where you've seen her show speed and use that as a weapon but

02:54sharlene's dream she might be the most uh need the lead type of all of these horses i don't know if

03:01she really wants to sit off scott you look at what she did at pimlico a couple starts back that was on

03:06a really speed favoring turf course and it may have helped her so i think she might be the one to catch

03:12in here i still don't really know how good she is though yeah and she could be over the top she's

03:17raced three times this is her fourth start she's got she doesn't want to be rated that's the thing

03:22ralphio bearrano a pretty patient rider couldn't really relax her she's gonna go i just think she's

03:27gonna have to deal with other other ones up there number five spanish eyes is grade one placed in

03:32germany she is a lightly race four-year-old she only has the one victory but i think you can go

03:37through her career and make some excuses for some poor performances her two races in the u.s pretty

03:42good she was second last time out to a horse named marksman queen who was able to get the jump on her

03:47in that race spanish eyes could get a nice setup if they you know they go quick in this small field and

03:53she's able to sit behind them does she stack up with this field class wise though can she get the

03:57job done here scotty well i don't think it's the strongest group in terms of the grade two level she

04:03obviously only has one win none in the states that's the big question but i can give it make

04:07excuses like you said for both of our recent starts uh fading back to the mid-may last time

04:13marksman queen was six to five and loose on the lead to your point duvet day will round out the field

04:18she's a deep closer and so in this field scott you have six horses it feels like three of them

04:23are kind of speed horses who want to be forward and the other three will probably be from off the

04:28pace the way i was kind of projecting it i could see duvet day and chick shadow being the deep deep

04:34closers and maybe spanish eyes is the one that kind of gets the jump on duvet day but if they do go fast

04:41you know that duvet day will come running late she will i just think we know what she is she's kind

04:46of plotty i think she needs everything to go right to be at her best three to one if that's the truth

04:52that's a no pat that's a no thank you but i definitely agree with all the other sentiments
