00:00As we head on over to the grade two mother goose, Scott,

00:02we start out with a sharp horse being myself as one, two in a row.

00:06And those two races have both been after an 11 month layoff.

00:10And both of them have been when stretching out for a very good trainer in

00:14Cherie DeVoe. So this Philly will make her third, start off the long layoff.

00:18I thought visually she was pretty impressive at Churchill down.

00:21She was like 15 to one and she won like a good thing that day.

00:25Yeah. You don't see Cherie DeVoe horses win like good things at that big of

00:28prices. So I don't know to take that at face value, but if you do,

00:32she's a major player in here.

00:34The problem is she's going to take a lot more money off of that.

00:37She's finished full run that day. We'll see how she handles the inside trip,

00:40but she'll have that man Johnny V aboard.

00:43Grade three winner queen Azteca most recently has just not been in the best of

00:49form. What do we do with her? She's kind of a wild card here, Scott.

00:52Her best races came in earlier in the year when she wins the UAE Oaks.

00:56Well, I don't think she's shown much to be competitive in here,

01:00but the only thing I'll say is she came over last time for the Alabama

01:03specifically.

01:04They thought enough of her to bring her over for that and run her in a much

01:07tougher field. And she didn't run well, but she didn't break well.

01:12She's given, given some time. Looks like she's training fine.

01:14Maybe she can take a step forward.

01:16Yeah. She just seemed like she got outrun a little bit.

01:18Maybe this will be better. Second time here.

01:20We moved to lemon zest three races going long. They're all solid.

01:24She had a good start. She got the lead inside.

01:26She had pressure to her outside from.

01:28So there she was,

01:28she battled on and she won that photo for second.

01:32My concern is that that was kind of the trip that she wanted.

01:35She got the lead over. So there she was.

01:37And that rival was still able to wear her down.

01:40Can you make a case for this gal on the wind end?

01:42I think she's going to take more money than I'd want.

01:44She came out of a really good debut race and she's done nothing wrong since

01:48then, other than getting beat at two to five last out.

01:50But I think she's regressed at each start.

01:53I don't want to see that in a horse that are a Philly that I'm betting as

01:56we're going into the late part of the season.

01:58Our daydreaming girl is a grade one place Philly, Scott.

02:01And you kind of know what you're going to get from her.

02:03She's really consistent.

02:04She always comes running.

02:06She's here angling to the way outside and she almost wins this grade one

02:11race right behind a horse that you liked that day in Clico,

02:14who is a nice three-year-old Philly.

02:17So I think for her, it just comes down to the setup.

02:19I think she's classy enough to win a race like this.

02:21If they go fast early on, she will come closing.

02:24How do you think she fits with this group?

02:25She's super honest and based on her pedigree,

02:27you wouldn't have expected her to keep moving forward as the distances got

02:31longer and as the turn gets added.

02:33I am concerned about the mile on an eighth and whether the pace will be fast

02:36enough.

02:37She also has to prove she's going to be at her best at over a non-parks

02:40racetrack, but she's pretty honest.

02:43Philly Freedom is the next one up.

02:45She crushed on October the 3rd when she broke her maiden at Belmont at

02:49Aqueduct.

02:50She won that race by eight lengths.

02:51If you look earlier in her career,

02:53she finished second behind a very nice Philly named Ragtime,

02:56who's a grade three winner and who is grade one place.

02:58Scott,

02:59what do you think about Philly Freedom's chances in here?

03:02Well,

03:02three,

03:03you normally,

03:04I think of two sprints to a route.

03:06This is kind of three sprints to a route,

03:08which makes me wonder if she's going to get the same,

03:10have the same impact.

03:12Chad Brown,

03:12you know,

03:13she's bred to get two turns.

03:14She's got the talent.

03:16Maybe she hasn't kind of progressed as much as you would like to see,

03:19but it would be more price dependent play.

03:22And when you look at 15 to one,

03:23that seems like,

03:24you know,

03:25maybe,

03:26maybe worth considering using underneath.

03:29She could be in the mix throughout.

03:30Yeah.

03:30Fully subscribed is the next one up.

03:32She'll go third start of the form cycle after a long,

03:35long layoff.

03:35And her two races so far this year,

03:38they're both pretty solid.

03:39She was behind cue the duck boats arrival right to the outside.

03:43Then she came back.

03:43She ran a really nice second.

03:45Most recently,

03:46just couldn't get to the pace setter that day.

03:48So what do you do with fully subscribed in here?

03:51Well,

03:51I'm worried that she doesn't have that much of a killer instinct and she's

03:54always going to take money.

03:55Those are not the two combination of two things that I like as a gambler.

03:59I wish I owned her though.

04:01You know,

04:01she's run three good races progressed,

04:03you know,

04:04she looks like she has a chance to win this race.

04:06Although yeah,

04:07from a better,

04:08um,

04:09she just is one that I think will take more money than I'm willing to

04:11swallow.

04:12Cue the duck boats.

04:13Uh,

04:14most recently raced at Woodbine on the synthetic comes back here to New

04:18York was,

04:19uh,

04:20a first level allowance winner at Saratoga back in September.

04:24Uh,

04:24what are your thoughts on cue the duck boats in here?

04:26Another one that,

04:27you know,

04:27it's hard to find lots of holes to poke,

04:30but just maybe looks a cut below the ones that I liked the most in

04:34here.

04:34Um,

04:35the lack of speed out of the gate,

04:36I don't think is going to work to her,

04:38uh,

04:38favor in this race,

04:39but she definitely,

04:41you know,

04:41would not shock me if she won the race.

04:43I think I feel the same with you about fully subscribed and cue the

04:46duck boats.

04:46I don't hate their form,

04:48but I think they both need to get a little bit better against this

04:51group.

04:51So there she was is,

04:53uh,

04:53in solid form right now.

04:54I mean,

04:54you look at her overall body of work and it's pretty good.

04:57The one race that she didn't really fire was a race coming off of a

05:00long,

05:01long layoff.

05:02She came back in her second start.

05:03She was second in the grade three,

05:04Torrey pines behind a sharp horse named almond joy.

05:07And this is in the Remington park.

05:08Oh,

05:09Scott,

05:09where she just sits a really nice trip outside of lemon zest.

05:12And she puts that one away.

05:13She's six for seven in the money.

05:15She's just a really consistent horse and getting better.

05:17I mean,

05:18she was 26 to one in the Torrey pines that race.

05:20And then,

05:21you know,

05:21almost won the race.

05:23And then,

05:23then she,

05:24uh,

05:24she's going to sit a great trip in here.

05:25If she can,

05:26if she can handle the extra ground,

05:28I like her chances quite a bit.

05:30The outside runner Drexel Hill rounds out the field as a stakes winner was

05:34second in the Kentucky Oaks.

05:36She came and running from last of 13 to finish second behind good cheer.

05:39Um,

05:40and if you look at that race,

05:41LaCara came out of it to win the grade one,

05:43a court next out fondly won the Delaware Oaks next out.

05:46Shake charge,

05:47my lady won the Monomoy girl stakes next out.

05:49But this gal does have six plus months off now,

05:52and she will need a little bit of pace to chase.

05:55She is not fast early now,

05:57but maybe off the layoff,

05:58she'll be a little more keen,

05:59maybe growing into herself a little.

06:01I think she's the best Billy in the field,

06:02you know,

06:03period.

06:03But the layoff,

06:04the lack of pace,

06:05the outside post,

06:06those are all questions.

06:07She's going to have to answer,

06:08which makes me not want to better in this race.
