00:00Drone footage provided by Air Support Tactical Security shows the moment a car
00:10thief was detained by police early this morning after being tracked by a live
00:15aerial monitoring. That video you saw there for example is you know a live
00:21example of how the operation works so as much as the TTPs were in the area
00:27looking for the vehicle having given them the coordinates you know where the
00:32vehicle was hidden they might have passed but an aerial view especially with
00:36things like turmoil imagery allows us to see these vehicles from afar even if
00:43they hide it in bushy areas and stuff like that as well as if there are suspects in
00:48the area we could find them a lot faster than searching on the ground and that's
00:52like well what would have happened yesterday or actually this morning I mean
00:57now we are using AI to be able to determine the driving behavior of a
01:02vehicle or the erratic driving of a vehicle at a certain hour to put us on
01:07higher alert some cases we are deploying even before we could get a customer out
01:12of bed but I let them know our cars out die it's the kind of technologies ASDS
01:17says is necessary for crime fighting in the 21st century Jamaica is in the process
01:23right now for their law enforcement puts in quite a few of these systems that we
01:26recently purchased there's an article that I read recently that is engaged in
01:31Panama they're using these dock systems US systems I saw El Paso Texas using it for
01:39their border control and Trinidad and Tobago the only one that has been deployed
01:44so far is our company a private agency and we have six more in order Barnes notes the
01:51technologies can be deployed in many different scenarios we have sent invocations
01:56to the commission of police I got a response I'm waiting for the commissioner to indicate we have
02:02demonstrated the system to the Ministry of Defense waiting for an audience with the
02:06Minister of Homeland Security because it's not just law enforcement this has a
02:10significant impact as well on things like disaster management ODPM you know if
02:15something happens in an area we could have a drone over it faster than ODPM could get a
02:19response team in the area so they get real-time assessments damage assessments we also have
02:26places like fire fire services this could also help fire services he says incidents of larceny of
02:33motor vehicles continue with an uptick in South Trinidad after the gtps North Central Division formed
02:41partnerships with GPS companies in the southern division would have was 166 in 2023 that went up
02:49to 242 in 2024 showing a rise of 46 percent now that shift is synonymous with the decrease in
02:58North Central and our increase in southern in 2024 the total amount of stolen vehicles was 1642 which
03:06is a two percent decrease air support tactical security claims to have a 100 percent recovery rate
