08:55yeah so you don't hear the chains rattling in there

08:59so we don't have a lot of aluminum in the oil
09:02which would tell you that the chain probably just has recently broke
09:06because if the chain guide had been gone for quite some time
09:09that chain would be cut in the inside of that timing cover
09:11and you'd have aluminum filings down in the oil
09:15why did the timing chain guide break with no oil pressure
09:18I would think you might get air in a system and it's banging around
09:21it's got no oil pressure on it
09:22and the chain is just whacking it
09:24so that's probably how it broke
09:26quicker than it does when it's like when you're cranking on it
09:29you know if you're going 2,000 RPM
09:30guy's lucky
09:31so what's your thinking
09:32do you want to go at it without any rod bearing
09:36you know bearing matter in the filter right
09:38we don't have
09:39that's where it's
09:40do we do engine tear down inspection or just front cover
09:42well I would think if it's an insurance claim
09:44they're just going to say
09:45so you've ran it and you don't have any bearing noise
09:48at this time

09:50but make sure you know you put on the thing
09:52no other problems found at this time
09:54the engine was ran low on oil
09:56and you know we're not warrantying the engine
09:58we warrantied the work we did but that's it

10:03good accurate tear down information diagnosis is so important
10:07and sometimes what's so important is the work done before
10:10with the service rider with the customer
10:12in gathering accurate information
10:14to assist us in making quality decisions about recommendations on repairs
10:20so that we don't overdo and we don't underdo
10:24but you end up getting the best product for your money
