Addressing recent trends and preventive strategies, he had tips for residents to enhance their security, remain vigilant, and respond effectively in high-risk situations.

00:00Ideally, particularly in the night time, one should ensure that around their house, or their premises, that it is well lit.
00:12Because it is a deterrent, simply because persons don't want to be seen, because they could be identified at a later time.
00:21Another traditional way is by having CCTV cameras, well positioned, strategically located, away from the access or easy access of persons,
00:34that it will allow for that recording and later on evidence to be produced, security alarms.
00:42These things, they cause persons to run, because they're not expecting that an alarm will be triggered.
00:50And because it attracts other persons, it alerts persons that are wrong, that there is something wrong, it is a mechanism that you can employ.
