China continues its work as a main leader in the digital future of the world. One of the areas that is seeing massive advancements is that of Artificial Intelligence. But China believes that narratives are being pushed to place the power in the hands of a few, while many others, including developing nations, get left behind. It comes as one of the country's largest digital trade expeditions was just concluded. Our Reporter Alicia Boucher files this report from Hangzhou, China.

00:00Dionne Lagor, Vice President of Corporate Communications, stated that the Caterpillar business has been part of Massey for nearly a

00:08and this transaction is an important moment for the group, quote,
00:13especially for the employees who have built this business, supported its customers, and contributed to its success over many years,

00:22Lagor noted that Markorp, which is currently the Caterpillar dealer in Guyana,
00:26is a dedicated Caterpillar business and is well positioned to build on what its teams have developed in Trinidad and
00:34Tobago.
00:34Asked about the affected employees, Lagor said Massey Group is committed to managing the transition with care, respect, and fairness.
00:44She said, quote,
00:45The company will honor all applicable commitments and provide practical support, including the Employee Assistance Program,
00:52and other resources to help them navigate this period and prepare for their next opportunity.
00:59Lagor added, quote,
01:00Where suitable vacancies are available, affected employees will be considered for the opportunities elsewhere within the Massey Group, end quote.
01:09Massey also operates a shell dealership and a truck dealership on the same compound as the Caterpillar dealership.
