08:17This looks like clothes, but this is not what I was after.
08:22$10.
08:24That's the reason I bought this unit.
08:28A concrete saw.
08:30I will say quick sale, $550 easily every day of the week.
08:35All right, everything else in here.
08:36Let's see if it's going to be as good as that.
08:39Light cord here, $5.
08:42More clothes.
08:43$10 on that crate.
08:44More clothes.
08:47Oh, these are like blankets.
08:48Heavy quilts.
08:50Quilts sell pretty good.
08:51$10 in quilts.
08:54Good looking tool bag.
08:56Very good looking.
08:57Looks like everything's there.
08:59$25.
08:59Well, right here.
09:02Oh, this is a big jack.
09:05I don't see the pike nowhere.
09:06That brings the value down about half without that.
09:12There we go.
09:14Cooking with grease.
09:15That's $20, jack.
09:17All right, what we got?
09:19Shop vac.
09:19Everybody, time in their life, will need a shop vac.
09:23Right here, $45 each.
09:27Cuisinart.
09:28Some kind of cooker.
09:29Yep, here's the cooker.
09:30I ain't making no bread, but it'll make me some bread.
09:32$25.
09:33A little bit of dough.
09:35Oh, this is heavy.
09:37Listen, it's got to be iron to be that heavy.
09:39Oh, it's iron, but I don't know what it is.
09:44Oh, I think this is a rake.
09:48Maybe not.
09:49Does it say anything on the box?
09:52Torque converter.
09:52Oh, a torque converter.
09:53That means you get more power.
09:54And it's made in the USA?
09:56Bonus.
09:57They're going to be $150 to $500, so let's just call it $200 to be safe.
10:03Well, I see worse.
10:06If it rolls or worse.
10:07$20.
10:09What we got here?
10:11Ugh.
10:13Ah!
10:15Definitely no money.
10:16Frisbee!
10:18That flies pretty damn good.
10:21No money in the rest of this.
10:23All right, what we got?
10:24Ooh.
10:26Ooh.
10:30I like stuff wrapped in cloth.
10:33What we got?
10:33Ooh!
10:34We have like an army cantina type thing.
10:37That's pretty cool.
10:38This looks like World War II-ish.
10:40And a hat.
10:42Oh, helmet.
10:43This is on my ground.
10:44We used to put the fuel in there and had a little light there blowing a little gas flame.
10:49These things can be the mother load or they can be fool's gold.
10:52But my rule is, when I don't know, find somebody who do.
10:54Ooh.
10:55Well, I only got two things left.
10:58Ugh.
10:59Well, Echo, $25.
11:01Leaf blower.
11:03Echo, better looking, $35.
11:06Let's see if they got compression.
11:11Ooh!
11:11Can we get lucky twice?
11:17Ooh!
11:20Double fisting!
11:22Ooh!
11:23Ooh!
11:28And that's what I call blowing away the competition.
11:30Now, I got to get back to the auction.
11:33I'm coming.
11:35Ugh.
11:36Nobody else steal this when I get out of here.
11:44Here we go!
11:45All right, folks, this is a six by ten.
11:49Another clean unit.
11:54I'm so sorry.
11:55I didn't mean to put it in.
11:58It's tough.
11:58You gonna put up with that?
11:59I'm not.
12:00Oh, yeah.
12:01All right, well, just don't let it happen again, then.
12:04Good job.
12:04Because next time won't be so nice.
12:07We're working on her social skills.
12:09Yeah.
12:09Yeah.
12:10You're gonna have to really work on that.
12:11Try to bring the anger out.
12:12All right, let's see what we got here.
12:14We got some fancy clothes.
12:16We got some keyboards.
12:17We got some...
12:18A lot of mystery boxes.
12:19Big old box.
12:20Damn.
12:21I like this one.
12:22Dan, you know what that means?
12:24I'm gonna own it.
12:25No.
12:26Okay.
12:27Okay?
12:27All right.
12:28Come on.
12:29I saw that.
12:30I love that.
12:30Just come on.
12:31I've had enough.
12:32Do you think I was being rude?
12:34No.
12:34I don't want to be rude.
12:35A lot of really ugly clothing.
12:39A couple of keyboards.
12:41This one's actually kind of decent.
12:43Oh.
12:43It's a stair climber.
12:45It looks like the box has not been opened, so maybe it's still in there.
12:49Not what I was looking for, but this kind of equipment can go for a couple hundred bucks.
12:53I'm in.
12:54Nice little clothes rack.
12:56Ooh, neat little marble lamp.
12:57I love that.
12:58You know how I love my marbles.
13:00You lost your marbles.

18:45Get in there.
18:46Get in there.
18:47Mm-mm.
18:48Dan, sell it to me.
18:49Tell me something good.
18:50Well, you know, I see a lot of plastic in there, and they say that's all over the planet,
18:54so you want your own collection.
18:56You're failing miserably right now.
18:57I hope you know that.
18:58I know.
18:59I'm really reaching.
19:00Is that a skateboard?
19:01It is.
19:02A little penny board is what it's called.
19:03A little baby board?
19:04That is about what it's worth.
19:05That is right.
19:06What do you think's in the bags?
19:07What's in the ploy?
19:08Baby clothes.
19:09It's like soda and socks.
19:12You're just drinking gas station, large beverages, and filling bags with trash.
19:17Baby clothes.
19:18No, no, no.
19:19You smell no money, right?
19:20No, no, no.
19:21Okay, run, run, run.
19:22Not only are they trash bags, but ugly trash bags.
19:25That's a double not today.
19:27Double not today.
19:28God, am I going to regret that $10 bid?
19:31Can I take it back?
19:32Can I take it back?
19:33Nope.
19:34I was just joking.
19:35We'll go ahead and we'll let you buy this one.
19:36Go ahead.
19:37All right.
19:38I got a five by six units, and it's packed with bags.
19:40And if you're ready to go, I'm ready to go.
19:41And here we go.
19:42How much money?
19:43What's your pleasure?
19:44Are you going to pay?
19:45Are you still at $20?
19:46I didn't say $20.
19:47Did you say $10?
19:48I said...
19:49I don't know, Dan.
19:50Wait.
19:51Make sure...
19:52Crickets.
19:53I hear crickets.
19:54All right.
19:55Give me $10.
19:56$10.
19:57Give me $10.
19:58$10.
19:59Nobody wants your bottle deposit.
20:01Give me $10.
20:02$5.
20:03That's nice of you.
20:04Well, I know.
20:05Give me $5.
20:07I'll give you $5.
20:09I'll give you $5.
20:10I'll give you $5.
20:11I don't know.
20:12There might be a $50 in a pocket.
20:14It's not about what you can't see.
20:15It's about what you can't see.
20:17I won!
20:19Yes!
20:20You got it, darling!
20:21Yes!
20:22Okay, you naysayers.
20:23Get out of the way.
20:24Yes, girl!
20:25God, she's fighting for it.
20:26We're going to have a good time.
20:28Gosh darn it.
20:29That's what I get for being assertive, Lisa.
20:31All right, folks.
20:32That's the end of the sale.
20:33And don't forget to pay the lady.
20:35Thank you, everyone.
20:38All right.
20:39I might not have learned to not give Dan a pity bid,
20:41but I did learn to come prepared.
20:44Look, you never know what you're going to find in a locker
20:46full of trash bags.
20:47Treasures hopefully, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
20:50You know what I mean?
20:51I'll start with this one.
20:52Oh, yeah.
20:53This one's good.
20:54This one was just asking to come down.
20:57Just get into it.
20:58Oh, awesome.
21:00Literal garbage.
21:02Bag O garbage number one.
21:07Only 85 more bags to go.
21:12Dirty, filthy clothes.
21:13Not going to sell that.
21:17Let's see.
21:18Yeah.
21:19Dirty blankets and stuff that no one wants to pay money for.
21:25Hey, look at this is actually a skateboard.
21:32With no wheels.
21:35Remind me again why I bought this locker.
21:40No, nothing good here.
21:44All right.
21:45We're adding this one to trash pile.
21:51Garbagio.
21:52Dirty bedding.
21:53Trash pile.
21:54Note to self.
21:55When Dan asks you to put an opening bed on a locker, stop, think twice, and then roll
22:07on out of there.
22:08Sweet .
22:11What?
22:12Fifteen.
22:13Hey.
22:14Brandy.
22:15Oh, my God.
22:16Tell me you're here to help me.
22:18I could use, I could use just the friendship.
22:21Holy mother of trash.
22:23What the hell did I just walk into?
22:25Here's the deal.
22:26You help me just get through the rest of this.
22:28Okay.
22:29And then I'm at your service.
22:31Ooh, I got a much bigger one.
22:33Yeah.
22:34I know I'm going to regret this, but what the hell?
22:37I remember my first locker and it wasn't as bad as this one.
22:40All right.
22:41Let's do some dishes.
22:42You spent five bucks, right?
22:43Yeah.
22:44I spent a whopping five bucks.
22:45But now you have to think of how much you're going to have to spend at the dump.
22:48Brandy.
22:49All right.
22:50Just show the guys that there's like a or something.
22:51They'll let you through.
22:52I'll bring you for that as well.
22:54I think that's probably a good idea.
22:56Watch Brandy go.
22:57Watch Brandy go.
22:59Look at these.
23:00Yikes.
23:01I had this.
23:02I believe we, yeah.
23:04Yep.
23:05We're going to go ahead and do that.
23:08Oh, what is that?
23:10What's that?
23:11Whoop.
23:12Whoop.
23:13This is it, right?
23:14Last bag?
23:15Last bag.
23:17Oh!
23:18Yes.
23:19Save yourself.
23:21I'm sorry.
23:22This is so bad, Lisa.
23:24No, Brandy.
23:25I'm sorry.
23:26I'm horrified for you.
23:28Well, I learned a very important lesson today.
23:31People actually put trash in trash bags.
23:33I know that we have created the world's largest trash mountain.
23:38But I'm going to come back, load this up in the Subaru.
23:41But first, let me hold up my pot of the bargain.
23:44Okay.
23:45Come and help you with your locker.
23:47All right.
23:48Let's go.
23:49I think I got my hat.
23:50Phil!
23:51Where you at?
23:52Over here.
23:53Over where?
23:54In the back.
23:55Phil Fabian at King Richard's Antiques.
23:56He's been good to me in the past.
23:57So hopefully today, I'll strike gold again.
23:58How you doing, Mr. Phil?
23:59Good.
24:00How are you?
24:01Good to see you again.
24:02You too.
24:03Well, I brought you two things.
24:04One is this.
24:05Okay.
24:06And the other you'll never guess.
24:07Uh...
24:08Okay.
24:09Okay.
24:10And the other you'll never guess.
24:11Uh...
24:12Okay.
24:13All right.
24:14All right.
24:15All right.
24:16All right.
24:17This is keeping my head warm right here.
24:18Yes.
24:19So this looks like a self-contained rescue breathing apparatus, mostly for miners, but basically
24:35in all small spaces.
24:36There's a lot of carbon monoxide in mines, which of course, as we all know, is dangerous
24:40to humans.
24:41But yeah, you take this ring out of here, you pull on it to open it up, and out comes this
24:46little mask thing with some chemicals in it.
24:48There's like little things on the inside of the mask, you bite down on that, that releases
24:52the chemicals.
24:53The chemicals turn the carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide, which is non-toxic to humans.
24:59And you can breathe for about an hour.
25:01This one looks like it's probably 1940s, World War II vintage.
25:05They did not use this specific, almost kind of a trash can style for too long, because it
25:10is very heavy.
25:11They've modernized them and upgraded them, but they basically work the same still.
25:14They're still desirable.
25:16They're just kind of more for decorative purposes these days.
25:19So what about the hat?
25:20What about the hat?
25:21Can I see it?
25:22Oh, sure.
25:24Now that I unearthed with this.
25:26Okay, cool.
25:27So this is a carbide lamp.
25:29It was invented in the 1890s.
25:31This actually uses calcium carbide.
25:33That's why it's called a carbide lamp, which is just a basic mineral you can get.
25:36You put it in here in the bottom.
25:38You put water in the top.
25:39You just pour some water in there.
25:41You've got this little flint here, you know, like a lighter.
25:44Click on that and it creates a spark.
25:46And the calcium carbide mixed with the water creates an acetylene torch.
25:50And that lets you see.
25:51These create a really great intense light.
25:54This little lamp lasts for just about 12 hours.
25:57Ooh, that little thing that long.
25:58Yeah.
25:59But this is the most important right here.
26:01Okay.
26:02This is like the Cadillac of mining hats.
26:03The material kind of reminds me of the ones in the army.
26:05You see the little lines?
26:06Yeah.
26:07So this would be officially a MSA Comfo Cap Tiger Stripe.
26:11The lighter colors actually reflect off of the light.
26:14So it helps see people better.
26:16Like, you know, if you wear fluorescent while you're jogging or something.
26:18Here, it can adjust to your head.
26:20You know, you can tie this little string here or untie it and make it bigger or smaller.
26:25I'd say this isn't even that old necessarily, probably from the 80s or 90s.
26:30They still make this cap today and it still looks exactly like this.
26:34This is a great find.
26:35Honestly, mining collectibles are a hot commodity.
26:38They have been for a long time and they still are.
26:41Well, the reason I drove down here is I'm mining for Moolah.
26:44That's where you come in.
26:45Okay.
26:46Well, you got this respirator here.
26:49This would actually probably finish somebody's collection if they were looking for something
26:53like this.
26:55They go for about 75 bucks.
26:57Hello, honey.
26:58So this little carbide lamp.
26:59This is really cool.
27:00And it's still in working condition.
27:02Collectors, they go crazy for them.
27:05They go for about 125 bucks.
27:07Not bad at all.
27:09The MSA Comfo Cap.
27:12This is a really nice one.
27:13And it's in great condition, especially with the tiger stripe here.
27:17I didn't go for upwards of about $750.
27:22And that's the kind of gold I was mining for.
27:25All right.
27:26Thank you, sir.
27:27I got some helmets to sell.
27:29There you go.
27:30See you later.
27:31See you, Ivy.
27:32You're after you.
27:34Let me unlock it, my lady.
27:36Ah, you stupid door.
27:37Ooh.
27:38Diving in, sweetheart.
27:39Dig deep.
27:4030 bucks.
27:41What about in this little fancy gray box?
27:42Let's see.
27:43What is it?
27:44Some hardware.
27:45At least 30 bucks.
27:46All right.
27:47I'm looking through the rack.
27:48There's Adidas.
27:49I mean, at least 50 bucks.
27:51Oh, wow.
27:52Oh, wow.
27:53Oh, wow.
27:54Oh, wow.
27:55Oh, wow.
27:56Oh, wow.
27:57Oh, wow.
27:58Oh, wow.
27:59Oh, wow.
28:00Oh, wow.
28:01Oh, wow.
28:02I thought it was going to be heavier.
28:03Look at it.
28:04It's a Yamaha.
28:05There's missing some knobs, but maybe you was missing some knobs.
28:08300 bucks.
28:09With this one, you can probably still get 100 bucks.
28:11Okay.
28:12Oh, at least there's stock.
28:14Look at it.
28:16They got their little iced out little bracelet thing.
28:19At least 300 bucks.
28:20That's pretty heavy.
28:21There's all kinds.
28:22This is a hot mess.
28:23There's at least $100 in purses here.
28:26What is this?
28:28These sunglasses?
28:29Maybe she was selling them.
28:30This is like you never need another sunglass case again.
28:33Dollar an item.
28:34There's at least like 100 of them in here.
28:35Let's get me one.
28:36Aye, aye, aye.
28:37Okay.
28:38Ah!
28:39Ah!
28:40Ah!
28:41You did it.
28:42But what is it?
28:43What does it say?
28:44It's the climber connected vertical climber.
28:47For exercise?
28:48This is an exercise device.
28:49Oh, wow.
28:50Definitely.
28:51That's not cheap stuff.
28:52It can't be.
28:53Yeah.
28:54Should we use our trusty friend?
28:56Yes.
28:57Brandy.
28:58What?
28:59This thing new is $3,000.
29:01What?
29:02I mean, let's try for half price.
29:03$1,500 bucks.
29:05Let me get it for you.
29:06You're doing all the heavy lifting around here.
29:08I'm joking.
29:09It's not that heavy.
29:10Really?
29:11I was excited.
29:12Heavy meant better stuff.
29:13Yeah.
29:14Not always.
29:15Oh, what's this?
29:16Oh, man.
29:17I don't know what's going on in here.
29:18A disco light.
29:19Oh, this thing's cool.
29:20What is it?
29:21I, you know, it's got a sensitivity control.
29:24Mm-hmm.
29:25And, I mean, this cord, I haven't seen one of these in a long time.
29:27This looks like it's easily, like, from the 70s.
29:30So, I think it actually is some form of, like, a party light.
29:34It has a sensor that plays to whatever music you're listening to.
29:38I've never seen one.
29:39Which I assume would be disco music.
29:40Because of this?
29:42Well.
29:43Yeah.
29:44But, you know, I haven't seen one in such a long time.
29:46Wow.
29:47So, I mean, let's, let's take it somewhere.
29:49Yeah, because I don't know the value of it.
29:51I've never seen one.
29:53Okay.
29:54Wow.
29:55This was very light.
29:56Very light?
29:57It's very light.
29:59So, I think pillows or bedding.
30:02For sure.
30:03Oh, look, there's more.
30:04Wow.
30:05Look.
30:06Wow.
30:07This is, like, some hippie stuff right here.
30:08Look, there's a bigger one.
30:09This is a disco extravaganza.
30:11Now we have, like, half of Studio 54 here.
30:13We'll just add these to the other 70s stuff and have it looked at, too.
30:17What about this rack?
30:18It's got a lot of colors.
30:19You see anything good?
30:20There's some brands.
30:21Maybe, I don't know, $100?
30:22I mean, it doesn't look pretty, but thanks to the, uh, stair climber.
30:27And we have a couple of nice keyboards.
30:29Yeah, yeah.
30:30And we still have the surprise.
30:31That's the sequel to the date.
30:33Yes.
30:34There's more.
30:35Part two.
30:38All right.
30:39You ready?
30:40I think so.
30:41Yes, I'm ready.
30:42All right.
30:43You're gonna learn something today.
30:44Yeah.
30:45But I won't just stand around and watch.
30:46Don't you worry.
30:47Okay.
30:48This is a perfect time to teach Lisa a thing or two about these units.
30:52She could use some serious mentoring.
30:54All right.
30:55Hey.
30:56Get up in here.
30:57Oh, this is heavy.
30:58Okay.
30:59Oh, what a fancy handbag.
31:00I think it's paperwork.
31:01Ah.
31:02Books.
31:03All right.
31:04Let's put this where we, over here, because we don't want it.
31:09Okay?
31:10Okay.
31:11Okay.
31:12That's the not, this is the no pile?
31:13Yeah.
31:14Here, you give to me and I'll put in the pile.
31:1630 blanket?
31:17Okay.
31:18No.
31:19Ah.
31:20Ah.
31:21Oh, these are actually some designer jeans in there.
31:24Probably like 40 bucks.
31:25Oh.
31:26Okay.
31:27Okay.
31:28Hungry basket?
31:29Now don't, let me help with, it's heavy.
31:31Okay?
31:32That's what I'm here for.
31:33Thanks.
31:34I mean, I don't know.
31:35Oh, they're still right.
31:37Well, you know what?
31:38A lot of people like this junk, so we'll keep that.
31:40I'd say like 20 bucks in there.
31:42Here, Brandy.
31:43We'll just, you know it.
31:44I'm really, I've really learned the plastic bag technique.
31:48Oh, goodness.
31:49Okay.
31:50And then we're going to just grab all that and put it right back into that bag.
31:54Is this that leather?
31:55Hard to say.
31:56It's hard to say.
31:57Take a gander at that.
31:58It says, leather baby.
32:00It is.
32:01All right.
32:02So we can sell that.
32:03Maybe 40 bucks.
32:0440.
32:05Yeah.
32:06Fine.
32:07Hey man, that's a sweet ass tire.
32:08It is a sweet ass tire.
32:09Give her a snack.
32:10Bad tire.
32:11The tread's still on it.
32:12A mini fridge.
32:13Oh, don't open that.
32:14We got to know.
32:15All right.
32:16You're actually trying to find out.
32:17I'm going to walk over here.
32:20Yeah, that's a bad idea.
32:21Yeah.
32:22Yeah, you're learning.
32:24Do.
32:25Not.
32:26Open.
32:27Fridges.
32:28Ever.
32:33By.
32:34Moisturizer.
32:35Yeah.
32:36Okay.
32:37Yeah.
32:38Was not heavy at all, so that was weird.
32:39Oh.
32:40Scuba suit?
32:41I don't think it's seat covers for your car.
32:42Actually, these are clean.
32:43Hmm.
32:44And they look like they're brand new, actually.
32:46Yeah.
32:4740 bucks for these?
32:48Yep.
32:49All right.
32:50Stroller.
32:51Looks like it's in decent condition.
32:5220 bucks.
32:56Oh.
32:57Okay.
32:58Oh, that's cool.
33:00Is that a lighter?
33:01Huh?
33:02Hold on.
33:03Hold on.
33:04It's an old, um...
33:05It's a lighter, no?
33:06It's a lighter, no?
33:07Greyhound.
33:08It's a lighter, right?
33:09Is that from a...
33:10Greyhound bus?
33:11No.
33:12Oh, maybe.
33:13Is it a...
33:14Oh.
33:15It's from an old vintage bus.
33:16Oh, the hood ornament.
33:17Hood ornament.
33:18Yeah, that's the word we were looking for.
33:19Yeah, yeah.
33:20The hood ornament.
33:21That's cool.
33:22Yeah.
33:23That might be...
33:24That looks cool.
33:25It might be worth something.
33:26Okay.
33:27Yeah.
33:28What else is in here?
33:32Oh.
33:33It's another hood ornament.
33:35Hood ornament, yeah.
33:36Hell yes.
33:37Hell yes.
33:38That's a falcon right there.
33:39We're gonna look at that little...
33:40Yeah, this is...
33:41That little falcon.
33:42TBI.
33:43To be investigated.
33:44Yeah.
33:47More seat covers.
33:48Another 40 bucks.
33:49What on earth?
33:50Oh, more seat covers.
33:52Another 40 bucks.
33:53More seat covers.
33:54Another 40 bucks.
33:55Seat covers.
33:5640 bucks.
33:57Seat covers.
33:5840 bucks.
33:59Seat covers.
34:0040 bucks.
34:01Seat covers.
34:0240 bucks.
34:03And...
34:04200 bucks on seat covers right here.
34:06I won the jackpot and seat covers.
34:08More seat covers.
34:09Another 40 bucks.
34:10Car seat covers are...
34:12Come on down.
34:15We got you covered.
34:16How about this beautiful bed frame?
34:18It is not beautiful.
34:19It's a little outdated.
34:20It's not worth it.
34:21All right.
34:22There are some tool boxes here, which is...
34:24Yeah.
34:25Promising.
34:28Okay.
34:29These are good.
34:30Ranch City.
34:31I can sell the hell out of this.
34:32There's a solid 100 bucks with tools in there.
34:33Yeah.
34:34Okay, last thing.
34:35This is it.
34:36Ready?
34:37Okay.
34:38I'm ready.
34:39Ooh, zip ties.
34:40Zip ties.
34:41Can't ever go wrong with zip ties.
34:42Actually...
34:43Probably get 50 bucks tools in here.
34:44Yeah.
34:45Not the best locker I ever had.
34:46But at least I taught Lisa a little something.
34:48I think I did just about make my money back in seat covers.
34:51If you know anybody that's in the market.
34:53I'll put the word out.
34:55But I did find those hood ornaments, so...
34:57Yeah.
34:58They've got to be worth some money.
34:59I think they're worth some money.
35:00You want to go with me?
35:01See if we can get some money out of it?
35:02Yeah.
35:03At least maybe I'll make a little money today.
35:04Let's just hope I can find them.
35:06Let's see.
35:07I'm excited.
35:08Oh, no.
35:09Look at all the dresses.
35:10I'm already scared.
35:11Wow, look at this place.
35:12Hey, guys.
35:13Come on in.
35:14I'm Wanda.
35:15Hi.
35:16To find out more about this disco party we found in the locker the other day, Lupe and
35:27I are meeting with Wanda Swallow, owner of Play Clothes Vintage.
35:30We heard you were the dress expert.
35:32I don't know if I'm an expert, but I've seen a lot of clothes.
35:36I've seen a lot of clothes in my life.
35:38This is a really cute little 70s pattern.
35:41It looks like the fabric's probably original.
35:43Mm-hmm.
35:44It's that typical kind of mini skirt, turtleneck, long sleeve, but it looks like it's made by
35:50someone at home.
35:51But this is beautifully done.
35:52The fabric looks original.
35:53It's an old metal zipper.
35:55Even though it is homemade, it's still really well constructed and kept in wonderful condition.
36:00And now this one...
36:01I call it a Brady Bunch dress.
36:03It's definitely a Brady Bunch dress.
36:05So it's a 70s pattern, 70s colors, the oranges, the yellows, the limes.
36:10But unfortunately, it's new.
36:12This is a newer store label and they do mainly 70s things, but they're both really cute.
36:17Well, we have some other things too.
36:19Yeah.
36:20Oh my goodness.
36:21So we got the party dresses.
36:22Now we got the party supplies.
36:23Now you got the mirror ball.
36:24Yeah.
36:25Wow.
36:26And you know, these go way back.
36:27They go back into the 20s even.
36:28Really?
36:29When people were swing dancing.
36:31But these would have been fairly common in the 70s.
36:34So we've got the two smaller ones.
36:36This is really great.
36:37Just that glow, the color, it's in good condition.
36:40There's no mirrors missing.
36:42The attachment is still here.
36:44Looks like it works pretty well.
36:46That's great.
36:47Well, our disco party is not quite over yet.
36:50Oh, okay.
36:51We have the partied light.
36:52Oh my God.
36:53Why don't we plug it in?
36:55Awesome.
36:56We'll see what it does.
36:57Look at that.
36:58Oh my gosh, look at that.
36:59Look at that.
37:00So cool.
37:01It's so great.
37:02Well, what we have here is a Saturn sound light.
37:05I saw it at a lot of disco clubs.
37:08You can even buy them and have them at home when you had your disco party.
37:11It does all different color lighting.
37:13And it also lights up to the beat of the music, which is really fun.
37:16Now look at the back.
37:17There's a microphone right here.
37:18And then this is a sensitivity knob.
37:20So I guess it can make the lights go at different levels and stuff.
37:23There's maybe a little crack in the plastic there.
37:26But this is really in good condition for thinking about how old it is.
37:30And that you would be carrying it from house to house for your house party.
37:34So, I mean, what do you think about these things?
37:36What do you think they're worth?
37:37I would say in total about $800 here.
37:44Whoa.
37:45Wow.
37:46I could dig that.
37:48All I hear is $800 worth of vintage dresses.
37:52We'll be right this way.
37:55I got the goods.
37:58Oh, good.
38:00Lisa and I are meeting with Jimmy Shine, the owner of Shine Speed Shop.
38:04To find out if the stuff we found the other day, we'll put some more money in my pocket.
38:07Put your greasy towel on.
38:08Okay, here.
38:09We've got a greasy towel for you.
38:10I like greasy towels.
38:11All right.
38:12So what do we have here?
38:13Many different radiator caps.
38:16Okay.
38:17This one I'm looking at right here, it almost looks like a Model A.
38:20But the shape is a little bit different.
38:22I would think that's probably late 1920s like Chevrolet.
38:26That looks more like a Chevrolet cap to me.
38:28And probably chrome plated.
38:30Because chrome plating came about in 1924, 1925.
38:33Because the chrome was really highly corrosion resistant.
38:37And they still use the same process where they polish the metal, it gets copper plated, and then nickel.
38:42But it fades.
38:43It corrodes.
38:44The chrome goes over the nickel, and it retains that luster.
38:47So that's why we still use that process today.
38:49This is a bit earlier, and it still has the pressure cap in here for pressure relief.
38:56They found that by holding the pressure in the radiator, it raises the temperature of the water before it boils.
39:01So you've got better cooling properties.
39:03And it's steel.
39:04And it was nickel plated before they had chrome.
39:07That's probably late teens, early 20s.
39:10And I think that might be off of like a Ford tractor.
39:13Oh.
39:14So this, this was a combination, hood ornament as well as the radiator cap.
39:19This is actually Lincoln.
39:21Oh.
39:22Probably late 20s, early 30s as well.
39:24Lincoln was like the high end part of like Ford Motor Company.
39:27Henry Ford started that division.
39:29Oh.
39:30A lot of this was like almost a status symbol on your car.
39:32I like the detail that they have the ribs and everything in there.
39:35It's like it's art.
39:36Again, it is art.
39:37It is art.
39:38Like somebody, like an artist made that.
39:39Because of the zinc and the chrome plating, you can see it's in really good condition.
39:44This, this is like high end Chevrolet, late 20s once again.
39:49But look how art deco that is.
39:50I know.
39:51Look how sharp and crisp all the lines are.
39:54About the time these were produced, we were going through the depression and there was a lot of pride in built in America.
40:00That resilience, that strength.
40:02And again, the cars were a big part of that as well.
40:05So that's an example of an American Eagle.
40:08Interesting collection you got there.
40:09You know, if somebody is restoring a car, they're going to want something original like this.
40:13But even if you don't have a car, I mean, there's a lot of people that collect these.
40:16All right.
40:17So how much money do I have here?
40:20I would think this being, you know, a baseline Chevrolet cap, probably a good $40.
40:27This tractor cap, about 60 bucks.
40:29Okay.
40:30I would think this would come in second place here.
40:33Wait, wait.
40:34Did you see?
40:35Did you turn it over?
40:36Is it anatomically correct?
40:38What?
40:39It might add to the value.
40:40So I would think something like this, even to somebody who's just a collector, that's probably $380.
40:47Okay.
40:48That didn't hurt.
40:49That's good.
40:50Now this 1920s Chevrolet Eagle, it too's in really good condition.
40:55The rarity of it, I'm thinking about 400 bucks.
41:00Okay.
41:01There we go.
41:02If my math is right, that's $880.
41:04I'm not complaining about that.
41:06All right.
41:07Well, thank you.
41:08All right.
41:09Nice to see you again.
41:10Lisa, nice to meet you.
41:11Thank you, Mr. Speed.
41:12Speed, shine, whatever.
41:14Mr. Shine.
41:15That's right.
41:16That's right.
41:17That's cool.
41:18Dusty and Lupe's date was a ball, as they discoed to the beat of $2,500.
41:27Ivy Calvin mined his way to 1,500 big ones.
41:32Brandy Passante capped off her day with 900 smackers.
41:37And though Lisa Delarios tried to be assertive, all she got was a big old pile of trash.
41:45This is hand sanitizer.
41:48Instant hand sanitizer.
41:50Instant, because the other ones take time.
41:53Hang on.
41:54Wait 30 minutes before you are sanitized.
41:55You are clean now, babe.
41:56You are clean now.
41:57There you go.
41:58You just sanitized the pile.
41:59Oh, that's OK.
42:00Great.
42:01Yeah.
42:02Yeah.
42:03So now it's clean.
42:04Now it's clean.
42:05Hey, wait.
42:06I think I saw a lighter.
42:07Whoa, she was bad.
42:08Okay, great.
42:09Yeah.
42:10Yeah.
42:11So now it's clean.
42:12Now it's clean.
42:13Hey, wait.
42:14I think I saw a lighter.
