00:00uh nl east for you we head into the break uh with the phillies holding a half game lead over

00:08the mets they are one game ahead in the loss column 41 losses 42 losses the marlins played

00:14so well over the last month that they have gone from fifth to third in the nl east uh but

00:20unfortunately only that and uh 250 will get you on the subway it doesn't get you much more

00:24and atlanta's having a miserable year uh absolutely miserable yeah they're done and i think the

00:31marlins are too far back as well ten and a half out seven and a half out of a wild card

00:37now i guess that that's not like completely shot at seven and a half back but for my money you know

00:47for the most part it is because if you look at the national league wild card the giants are a half game

00:54back at a pod race who have the last spot and then it's the cardinals they're one and a half out

01:00reds two and a half out diamondbacks five and a half marlin seven and a half i know look um

01:06there's your wild card standings right now brewers mets pod race get in look i think the phillies have

01:12better pitching than the mats right i think that they got minaya back isn't that right didn't they

01:19get the mets just got him back and look uh the other one who they have montas he's been injured

01:26canning got injured i i think peterson's done a nice job for him but if you look at the reality of

01:34it is uh the philadelphia phillies they have all the pitching the sanchez suarez wheeler it goes on and on

01:42so my edge is to them in the east even though i think the i think the mets can dance with them

01:52till the end i think the mets are a playoff team i think the mets uh offense is loaded

01:59i like that lineup for sure i just think if anybody needs to do something at the deadline

02:04it's the mats with all their you know i think deficiencies pitching

02:08yeah uh they're the team that's going to have to make some moves no doubt about that uh the cubs

02:15have a one game lead over the brewers who of course have won seven in a row going into the break

02:20and they are one game back now of the cubs and uh you know the cubs are still favored to win the

02:27division but uh like you said the brewers plus 240 right there right there for the brew crew been

02:34playing some very good ball i don't doubt the cubs but i've seen enough to believe in them but i think

02:40the brewers i have better pitching and they're certainly winning a lot aren't they so i think

02:46they're the dangerous team for my money in the central
