00:09According to police reports, around 9.50 p.m. on July 13th, a 45-year-old man was driving a white Toyota Hilux along Bassey Street in the company of his 44-year-old wife, Janki Sati Karam, and their son.
00:23While in transit, a blue vehicle of unknown make, model, and registration suddenly pulled in front of them.
00:30Three mastermen, all armed with firearms, exited the vehicle.
00:34One suspect forced the female victim into the blue vehicle, while another suspect robbed the male driver of $500 in cash and an iPhone 14 Pro.
00:44One of the assailants then entered the victim's Toyota Hilux, and both vehicles drove off, one with a stolen Hilux and the other with a kidnapped woman.
00:53The couple's child was not reported harmed in the incident.
00:57At around 8 a.m. today, officials from the North Central Division, as well as the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, received key intelligence, which led them to Sunset Drive in Aruka.
01:06There, the Hilux was recovered.
01:08However, Karam could not be located.
01:10The vehicle was processed by crime scene investigators and removed from the scene.
