00:00So look what came in the mail today. I've left it till this evening to unwrap this just as a
00:07like real surprise. Basically I got a delivery from Block Skincare and you'll never believe this
00:16honestly. So Block, it's a boutique skincare range here on the Gold Coast and it's run or
00:25you know sort of Block and the dermatology business is run by Dr Michael Freeman and his
00:30son Dr Andrew Freeman or at least it was started by them and basically I'm a massive Block fan like
00:38I've you know anyone that's followed my YouTube channel knows I do use Block and and they know
00:43that I use Block but anyway basically to cut a long story short they've recently, Piper's probably
00:49going to want to get on the bed. They've recently brought out sort of a new formula or you know
00:56they're updating their range basically and I knew that that was happening because you know they've
01:01sent emails out for the last couple of months and they've had sales and so I've bought up quite big
01:06on the old stock just because I love it. They do not even know I'm doing this like honestly I really
01:14do love Block. Out of all the skincare I've ever used, Block, everything I use in that range actually
01:20sinks into my skin. It never balls on my skin. I don't know if you've ever used skincare where you
01:27put it on and then you put sunscreen on and then you try to put foundation on and it balls on your
01:32skin like when you put the foundation on you get little balls of the skincare and that has actually
01:37happened with quite a few skincares that I have tried. Never ever ever with Block. It's like it
01:45sinks into my skin and in fact quite a few years ago now for my journalist print magazine work I
01:54interviewed Dr Freeman, Dr Michael Freeman for Australian Natural Health I think the magazine
01:59was called which is no longer in print because no one reads anymore but he was talking about all the
02:05ingredients that he put into his Block skincare and look to say that they're passionate about their
02:11business is sort of an understatement because I remember another time when I ordered something
02:17they sent a free little tub of honey from their farm. Honestly they have a farm as well so you know
02:27they're really into sustainable, natural, really truly passionate about skin health. So anyway
02:35I'm rambling this I cannot believe it this is the new range and you'll never believe it
02:43they this has come in the post for me for free and I'm not naive enough to think that you know
02:49obviously this is part of their promo so it wasn't just me obviously you can kind of tell when an email
02:55is like you when you're one of many people on an email obviously you don't see anyone's email addresses
03:01but you can kind of tell when it's a mass previous email so I do imagine that this mail out has gone to
03:07a lot of their clients here on the Gold Coast that probably order block online which I do do
03:12but even so like I was so excited to get the email I couldn't believe it no other company has ever done this
03:24like no other skincare company has ever done this and look they are a boutique range but like I
03:32anyway I was really touched I emailed them back and I said thank you so much and I'm sorry this is the
03:38email this is what they've sent I will open it in a sec but and I only got it today but basically
03:44they've sent the antioxidant serum balanced moisturizer gentle cleanser pro c serum and
03:54pro peptide serum and I have a feeling that the pro peptide serum is replacing their boost to use
04:01peptide serum and it's um 150 to buy and and so this whole order they actually sent me an order
04:10with no money to cookie love my little assistants come in with obviously no money to pay but the
04:19order itself is worth 450 dollars and like I just I couldn't believe it honestly and like I said I've
04:27not been asked to do this I don't even know I'm doing it I'm just going to pop this up and say
04:32first look at blocks new range so this really is the first look and I imagine that me and many other
04:41people got this in the mail today ta-da so this is honestly the first look I've not seen them

07:47too so so these are my assistants so I guess I got a specially teary oh you better not get anything
07:58all right darling mommy's gonna have to rescue these mommy's going to um okay we're gonna do the
08:10games in a sec I guess this is why I got teary because it had like we have had a bit of a
08:19challenging time with with with health things you know my hyponatremia and my fractured elbow
08:27and the virus that we've been battling just everything so this has been a wonderful surprise
08:38all right darling how about we have a look at this how about we open the boom blast sticks look
08:48can I open this and the pipe is still on the bed so that's good look do you want to open this
08:55so anyway this really has touched me like I I can't think of another company that would care about
09:08their clients so much and to receive this in the mail I don't know it gives you the warmest feeling
09:15of just I don't know like I mean it's a no-brainer obviously but you know even a handwritten note and
09:22um where's my handwritten note I've just probably taken it I don't know it's here somewhere I will find
09:30it um here it is even this handwritten note like you know it's not sort of AI generated or anything
09:37so they're they're real people behind this company it's a family um they are passionate about their
09:45skincare and well to say that I'm touched by this gift is an understatement so I'm very excited now
09:51though I am going to jump in the shower and I'm going to try my beautiful new skincare
09:58so I've got to be quick I've just had a shower and I've used the beautiful new block cleanser like
10:15it is absolutely gorgeous and I also use their old uh deep cleanse so this is obviously from the old
10:21range I don't have the new one yet but I'm sure they've got an equivalent and and so I double cleanse
10:26in the evening that's my routine basically it gets rid of makeup and all that and then it gets rid of
10:30the um dead skin cells on the surface of your skin and now my normal evening routine that's all wet
10:37because I just brought it from the shower is to use the booster youth so this is the old booster youth
10:43here and it's quite an expensive product so I'm really surprised and really grateful that they
10:50sent me full full-sized products not even just samples so um the new one that I'm assuming replaces
10:57this is the pro peptide serum so I am going to try it on now and this is the perfect time actually to
11:05use all this beautiful new skincare because it's just after my skin needle needling treatment that
11:11I had so I've got a beautiful new refreshed renewed sort of canvas to put new skincare on
11:17so this is the pro peptide serum takes a couple of pumps to get it fully out oh here it comes
11:24aha so it's a little bit whiter than the old so the old one is a little bit creamier let me show you
11:34yeah see it's a little bit creamier so the new one and the new one just as it was coming out felt a
11:40little bit lighter too now I don't want to waste any of this I'm just going to put that on my arm okay
11:45first try of it smells like the old boost youth serum
11:53oh this is so beautiful it's cool and it's calming and it's because my face often gets a bit flushed out
12:04of the shower oh that is just gorgeous apparently you're supposed to dab skincare on not rub it in
12:12like I love rubbing it in but you're supposed to dab
12:14oh you know putting on good skincare can just take you away somewhere to a just a relaxed nice place
12:25oh that is just beautiful you know I do think that's a little bit lighter than the old formula but
12:32but it does smell similar so I can tell it's got those powerful things in it and it's oh it's just
12:37gorgeous it's cool it's just beautiful and apparently peptides are one of the evidence-based
12:43things I think that can improve your skin oh cookie love and then moisturizer is the next thing that I
12:50would put on so I'm going to try this one now I love their moisturizer this moisturizer is one of
12:57their top sellers apparently like it's really popular like if you don't use any of the other
13:02products apparently the moisturizer is is a winner
13:08and again it

13:12take a minute to get it out
13:23that has happened to me before with block and you're like pumping it a few times and you're
13:29not but it does come out but it does come out so this again I don't know if the texture is any
13:34lighter but but it's I'm a similar color too oh that is beautiful too oh cookie love mommy's using a
13:45beautiful new skincare I was so touched by this that they sent it this is gorgeous yeah mommy's had a shower
13:54these are beautiful really nice he often sings if I say I'm gonna get in the shower he's off sometimes
14:01sings mommy in the shower mommy's out of the shower now this is beautiful this is just gorgeous so
14:11that's my evening routine basically after cleansing I would use the booster use now I'm going to use the
14:16pro peptide serum and just a moisturizer on top and that's all I need and they have also sent me
14:23then the antioxidant serum and the pro c so the pro c I use use be careful there darling I use the c
14:32in the mornings because it's got that um I think it's got the the ability to fight free radicals and
14:38uv a little bit of that uv damage or um whatever the uv does to your skin bad things basically so the c
14:47is for the morning and the antioxidant serum I I don't know I might actually swap and change a little bit
14:54because it's so fun to play around a little bit with skincare so what I might do is I might use the pro peptide serum
15:01every second night and the antioxidant serum um every second night or you can layer them a little bit too
15:07I think but I'll I'll look into that a little bit more like I said this is first look I only got these in the mail today so
15:13but that just feels beautiful that really feels beautiful and the technicality of actually who owns
15:20the block range like it's sold at the skin center which is um run owned and operated by the freemans
15:26which is dr michael freeman and dr andrew freeman both awesome dermatologists here on the gold coast
15:33and both really care about skin like I've spoken to dr andrew freeman too and
15:38and I did the tixel the video you can actually watch that video on the tixel treatment
15:43at the um skin center that they had here on chevron island but they've moved now it's no longer there
15:50they've set up new headquarters banoa and then some and new premises so um but anyway but it was
15:58developed by dr michael freeman and um you can't get someone who's more passionate about skin health
16:04than dr freeman I have interviewed him for articles in the past both for the australian and print
16:10magazines he's passionate about skin he's passionate about the ingredients that go into skin
16:15and I'm really touched that they sent this beautiful pack to their uh customers who are you know sort of
16:23very using it and I don't know if anyone's seen the movie pretty woman but there's a fantastic bit
16:29where richard gear's character and julie's character are negotiating or bargaining the price of her
16:36staying and you know she's trying to then up the price trying to lower the price darling come away
16:43from that please and um and in the end once they've settled on the price richard gear's character goes
16:50I would have paid you know the original price she said and she said I would have stayed
16:54the price that he was trying to get her down to it's the same with me I would use their new range anyway
