00:05If he's healthy, if he is healthy, which is always a thing,

00:11what he was doing in Chicago years ago was shoot the ball 40% from three

00:17and really is one of the more underrated defensive guards in the NBA at 6'6".

00:24And when you look at a team like Cleveland, my worry was with their lack of size

00:32defensively in the backcourt, it's 6'1", and Darrys Garland and Donovan Mitchell.

00:37So if Lonzo is healthy, I think this is a home run for Cleveland.

00:44The question now becomes is if they think Lonzo is healthy and he chose it to be,

00:53does that mean that Cleveland can now consider, once he chose he's healthy,

01:00moving Darrys Garland and putting Spider in the backcourt with Lonzo

01:05and getting something back from Garland to address a little bit more frontcourt help?

01:11But the frontcourt help is weird because they already have Mobley, Allen,

01:16DeAndre, Hunter, so it would be more for a backup piece in the pivot.

01:20So Garland's not going to be healthy to start the season.

01:22Garland, we know that.

01:23So I think it's a great move for the Cavs, bringing in, I guess, a veteran at this point.

01:30And when Garland does come back, I would like to see this as a team that is just like,

01:37you know, like all hands on depth.

01:38It's like, listen, guys, it's like no one has to be the star.

01:41Lonzo, you're not going to be the star.

01:43Mitchell, you should still lead the team.

01:44But, like, if we have everyone buy in, bringing defensive depth and guard depth is fantastic.

01:51And that is what they will need to win and compete in the East.

01:55So as long as everyone buys in after what was a great season,

01:58and I know you had a ticket on, I believe it was to win the East this past season.

02:02To win the title.

02:03And they weren't healthy.

02:05But if they have that more depth that can be more consistent,

02:08I think they're a team that can absolutely win the East.

02:10I'm not saying I like their odds because I think they're insane at this point.

02:13But I do think they are a very viable option.

02:15I don't even think their odds are that insane.

02:16Honestly, they won 64 games.

02:19So you like this move for them.

02:21So the odds.

02:23Regardless, not just from a basketball.

02:24Yeah, the odds have nothing to do with it.

02:26They won 64 games.

02:27They were eliminated by the Pacers who lost Halliburton.

02:28The other 60-win team was the Celtics and they lost Tatum.

02:32And the Knicks don't have a coach.

02:35So, yeah.

02:35No, I think that their odds.

02:37Like, their odds only reinforce how awful the Magic odds are.

02:42We totally agree on that.

02:44Here's the thing with Lonzo.

02:48I think he is a really good basketball player.

02:53But he has played in the last four years 70 games out of a maximum of 328.

03:02That is not a lot.

03:05And now that is an injury that ended a season, cost him two years, and then cost him a portion

03:12of a season.

03:13So maybe he is now closer to fine.

03:17But I think that Lonzo is not coming in.

03:23It's low risk in what they sent out.

03:25They're going to rely on Lonzo a little bit more than people may initially think.

03:30But Garland Point is a fantastic one in that Lonzo could be a starting player on this team.

03:35Also, you know, every move has, like, if you're in the middle of a show, you might need to

03:40scroll so somebody can, you know, because we're trying to figure out what's going on.

03:44Ty Jerome is an unrestricted free agent.

03:46Yep.

03:47Ty Jerome is not going to be a calf.

03:48And Sam Merrill, I think Merrill's a free agent as well.

03:51So now you have Ty Jerome, who's very much so deep in the six-man-of-the-year race.

03:56You have Lonzo, who's going to be asked to start 25, 30 games for this team.

04:02Every Garland missed game, right?

04:04Probably the Mitchell missed games.

04:06They just, you know, guys miss games.

04:09And be the sixth man of the year.

04:13So my, by the way, getting rid of Okoro, fine.
