00:07and there's just this general assumption that that's what's going to happen the tide will turn
00:12when it goes back to cleveland but detroit seems to be playing like they were back in january and
00:18february where they were playing this consistent form of basketball and just rolling off the wind
00:23so that's my big question to you coming out of this do you think that this series now shifts
00:29completely in terms of going to cleveland and cleveland winning games or is detroit now playing
00:33that basketball we saw earlier in the year i'll start with detroit because you know i do want to
00:39give them some credit here they've been playing this style of basketball to your point since day
00:44one like they they started this they had this identity they know what they are they know what
00:48they aren't and they've been able to kind of stack up wins because of it leading to the number one
00:53seed in the eastern conference they now have a two low lead in the second round of the playoffs after
00:57getting bounced last year in the first round so they are doing what they're supposed to be doing
01:01and then oh by the way kate cunningham is actually performing at the all nba level that we expect him
01:05to perform at at the in the playoffs on the flip side we have not seen that from the cleveland
01:10cavaliers just yet and i know a lot of the talking heads are going to talk about james harden and

01:16lack of playoff performance guess what you could probably replay a bunch of talking heads doing that
01:20last year the year before the year before that and even back to 10 years ago when he was a
01:25little bit
01:25younger and in his prime he is no longer the mvp candidate that he was before so anyone that
01:30expected him to be any different than what he was in the playoffs in years past was fooling themselves
01:36really like the cleveland cavalier i don't think traded for james harden to be a high level playoff
01:41performer what they traded james harden to be was more durable than darius garland who was missing
01:47the last two playoff runs at least james harden showing up on the court and actually playing in those
01:52games i think that's what they wanted him to be and and then of course to take off some of

01:57off donovan mitchell uh to help him out in the postseason can james harden play better yes is he

02:07did not play well in game one he played better in game two but not at the level that he

02:26one rebound as a big man whether it's in the preseason regular season or the second round of the
02:30playoffs that is a bad bad bad performance out of evan mobley so for all the the crap that james
02:37harden is going to take over the next 36 hours until they play again it really should be redirected to
02:42two people and that's evan mobley and donovan mitchell because those are the two best players in the
02:47cleveland cavaliers and they have to be the two best players on the cleveland cavaliers to get
02:50through this series and they can't rely on james harden to be someone that is going to be one of
02:55the two best players on the team he's really their third option and he should be just fine in that

03:00that role but if you're expecting more out of him then the cavaliers will be at home pretty soon
