00:04St Paul's Cathedral is more than just a church, it's a symbol of resilience, rebirth and

00:10The current cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, was completed in 1710 after the Great
00:16Fire of London destroyed the medieval original in 1666.
00:22It's iconic dome, inspired by St Peter's Belisca in Rome, is one of the largest in
00:28the world.
00:29St Paul's became a national icon during World War II, when it miraculously survived
00:34the Blitz, a famous photograph of its dome rising through the smoke became a powerful
00:40symbol of British resilience.
00:43Over the centuries, it has hosted major events including Royal Jubilees, the funeral of Winston
00:48Churchill and the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981.
