People of Glasgow share their thoughts on whether school dinners should go veggie for health reasons

With studies suggesting school serve too much processed meat in their dinners, we ask Glaswegians is they think the meals should become vegetarian to avoid this.

00:11Try and use real, organically grown stuff.

00:15Nutrition is important. There are scientists and all this stuff better than I do.

00:20Nah, you can't force salt on veggie.

00:22I understand it's processed meat, but one, budget cuts.

00:27With everything going up in price, you have to accept that stuff will be cut

00:32and some people just won't eat it with its veggie.

00:36I mean, it's a way of life that a lot of people don't mind,

00:42but a lot of people do mind at the same time.

00:44I don't see any way in which it would be too far.

00:47Freedom of choice comes to it.

00:49If you only eat meat, eat meat. If you only eat veggies, eat veggies.

00:53The whole, we're only serving this type of food, it's kind of a restrictive practice.
