Acting Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin says, the police service is examining what to do with some of the vehicles that have become derelict overtime, to see what can be salvaged. It is being done through the Office of the Procurement Regulator.

00:00That is all part of the new OPR system. The new OPR system caters for that. We are dealing with the disposal of these delirium vehicles and also with the new OPR system, we have specialists that will be looking at those vehicles to determine exactly how they should be disposed.
00:19Those that we believe could be used for parts, based on the recommendation of the expert, we will use it for parts, and the others that need to be disposed, otherwise we will do that.
00:29So it is all part of the OPR, and we are adhering to the OPR regulation in relation to those matters.
