00:00A lot of sweeps in baseball over the weekend.
00:04I'd say the one that excited me the most, to be honest with you,
00:08was what the Brewers did to the Phillies.
00:09I actually heard boo birds out all weekend at the bank,
00:14and I was enjoying it, actually.
00:17Biggest surprise was seeing the – I mean, it depends on how you feel
00:22about the category war, but Jesus Lozardo of the Phillies
00:26had the number one war for all pitchers in the National League
00:29going into that series.
00:30He gave up 13 runs in one game.
00:33But, Scott, it's really hard to identify a lonely series in May or June
00:39and think that that's a precursor to anything else.
00:42I guess the only thing is we've got to look at Milwaukee
00:43as a team that's just never going to go away.
00:46I mean, this is two years in a row.
00:47You look right before this seven-game winning streak that they went on,
00:50and everyone's like, ah, they're done.
00:51The Cubs are there.
00:52The Cardinals are ahead of them.
00:54Now, all of a sudden, the Brewers are right there again.
00:56It just doesn't matter who the manager is or who the talent is on that team.
00:59The Brewers are in it every year.
01:00So my biggest takeaway from them is just never count the Brewers out.
01:03Yeah, and, you know, the Cardinals have won tons of games,
01:07but yet they're still four deep of the Cubs.
01:09Have you been surprised by the Northsiders and Crow Armstrong in particular
01:15who's put his name on a map this year, not only with his bat,
01:20but, boy, is he something else in center field?
01:23Yeah, at this point, I think you probably, I know the odds will state
01:28maybe Kyle Tucker has a better chance to win the MVP,
01:30although Otani, as long as he's there, he's probably going to win it.
01:33But I would say that Pete Crow Armstrong probably should be number two
01:35in the National League.
01:37And, look, the Cubs have made some really savvy moves
01:41over the last couple of years.
01:42They're doing this without Imanaga, who's been hurt, too.
01:45So I definitely think they'll be in the mix,
01:46and I think that the Cardinals probably look like the most overrated team
01:50through the first two months of the season.
01:52I cannot imagine that they're going to continue to play this kind of baseball.
01:56And quite frankly, Scott, this is not the direction that they thought
01:58that they would be in this year.
02:00So I do expect some huge regression to come back from them in the second half,
02:03and I think if they're going to trade players,
02:05time is probably coming up pretty soon for them.
