02:14Good evening.
02:16It's great to be back with all of you at home after the Memorial Day holiday.
02:18We do begin tonight with this urgent search for a former police chief, a convicted murderer known as the devil of the Ozarks, who escaped from a high security prison in a makeshift uniform.
02:28He was serving a decades long sentence for murder and rape in Arkansas.
02:31Grant Harden slipped through a controlled gate in broad daylight.
02:34We're learning that law enforcement uniform he put together himself.
02:38Tonight, officials circulating this wanted poster of the 56-year-old former police chief.
02:42Residents have been told to be on high alert and to lock their doors.
02:46Authorities are closing roads, setting up checkpoints and searching the densely wooded area.
02:50And tonight, we've learned the search area is now widening.
02:53And what officials are now saying about where he could be.
02:56ABC's Faith Abubay leading us off tonight.
02:57She's in Calico Rock, Arkansas for us.
02:59Tonight, Arkansas residents on high alert as the urgent search for a former police chief turned escaped convict stretches into its third day.
03:09Grant Harden breaking out of an Arkansas prison this weekend.
03:12The 56-year-old was serving decades in prison for rape and murder.
03:17The Stone County Sheriff's Office releasing this photo, they say, shows Harden disguised in a makeshift officer's uniform as he took off from the prison through a controlled gate.
03:26It does look like it was handmade and manufactured in a lot of ways.
03:30And so we're trying to ascertain exactly what compiled that makeshift uniform and where he's able to get those materials.
03:39Tonight, authorities telling ABC News they're scouring the densely wooded area nearby, warning Harden, who has a law enforcement background, could be armed and dangerous.
03:48The sheriff closing roads, setting up checkpoints and telling the community to, quote, stay vigilant, lock your house and vehicle doors and report any suspicious activity immediately.
04:00Harden, known locally as the devil of the Ozarks, has been the subject of criminal docuseries.
04:05Police detectives who previously worked alongside him, shocked and devastated.
04:09There's evil in this world that will take advantage of an opportunity if they get it.
04:16And then here he was, 20 years later, sitting five feet away from me and I had no idea.
04:22The urgent manhunt for the former police chief comes at the same time as authorities are still looking for two of the 10 inmates
04:29who escaped in a separate brazen jailbreak in New Orleans.
04:33Everybody moves to the right side of the car.
04:35Authorities releasing this new body camera video of two of their most recent arrests now captured and back behind bars.
04:43Back in Arkansas, the manhunt intensifying tonight as residents remain on edge.
04:49So let's bring back in Faith Abube.
04:51She's live tonight in Arkansas on the scene of that search.
04:53And Faith, I know you just spoke with authorities.
04:55Where do they think he could be?
04:56Yeah, David, they believe he could be in the densely wooded areas around here, which is making the source even more difficult.
05:03A source telling me just moments ago they are following a strong lead nearby.
05:08Helicopters, ATVs, drones and canine officers all being utilized in this urgent manhunt.
05:14David.
05:14All right, Faith Abube leading us off here tonight.
05:16Faith, thank you.
05:17We turn now to the major headline involving COVID vaccines here in the U.S.
05:20and the changing guidelines tonight when it comes to pregnant women and children.
05:24And it's causing controversy.
05:25Health Secretary RFK Jr. bypassing the CDC, announcing these major changes.
05:30No longer recommending the vaccines for healthy pregnant women and healthy children.
05:35Kennedy's decision blindsiding many medical experts, the leading OBGYN association, saying tonight about this unexpected move.
05:41It is very clear that COVID-19 infection during pregnancy can be catastrophic.
05:47Here's Rachel Scott.
05:48Tonight, in a significant change to CDC guidelines, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
05:55announcing the department will no longer recommend routine COVID shots for healthy children and pregnant women.
06:01I couldn't be more pleased to announce that as of today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women
06:08has been removed from the CDC recommended immunization schedule.
06:14Kennedy, a noted vaccine skeptic, has questioned whether the COVID-19 vaccine was successful in saving millions of lives.
06:21Today, he was joined by other top health officials.
06:24There's no evidence healthy kids need it today.
06:26And most countries have stopped recommending it for children.
06:29But the move was quickly questioned by public health officials,
06:32accusing the Trump administration of bypassing the traditional independent review process,
06:37including recommendations from medical experts.
06:39We were kind of blindsided by this announcement.
06:41We were not consulted about this, Dr. Sean O'Leary with the American Academy of Pediatrics said,
06:47and the leading OB-GYN association, with this dire warning.
06:51It's very clear that COVID-19 infection during pregnancy can be catastrophic.
06:56Tonight, the CDC's website still listing the COVID vaccine as recommended for everyone six months and older,
07:02including pregnant women.
07:03Doctors saying the new recommendations are unclear and remove a health care choice for families.
07:08This comes after the deadly measles outbreak across the country.
07:12Most of the cases involving children not vaccinated.
07:15Today, Nebraska, now the 32nd state to report a measles case, a rare breakthrough case in a child who was vaccinated.
07:22So far, more than 1,000 people have been infected with the virus since the start of this year.
07:28Three unvaccinated people, including two children, have died.
07:31So let's bring in Rachel Scott live at the White House tonight.
07:34Rachel, that's the news on COVID vaccines and these changing guidelines tonight.
07:37But I know you're also covering another developing headline at this hour from the administration.
07:41President Trump tonight pardoning two reality TV stars on fraud and tax evasion convictions.
07:47Yes, David.
07:48The president announced just moments ago that he will be granting full pardons to Julie and Todd Chrisley,
07:53two reality TV stars from the show Chrisley Knows Best.
07:57The couple was convicted of tax evasion and also defrauding banks out of more than $30 million by submitting false documents as they continue to live a luxurious life.
08:07The president says that pardon could be coming as soon as tomorrow, David.
08:11All right, Rachel Scott of the White House.
08:12Rachel, thank you.

09:05Waltz charged with kidnapping, assault and criminal possession of a firearm.
09:09The alleged victim, a 28-year-old Italian national telling authorities his captors, took his passport, tied him up and demanded his Bitcoin password.
09:18When he refused, he says the suspects shocked him with electric wires, beat him with a firearm and dangled him over a ledge, threatening to kill him if he didn't share the password.
09:28After nearly three weeks, the victim says he agreed to give up his password, but was able to make a daring escape when the suspects went to retrieve his laptop.
09:37The victim, barefoot and bleeding, was able to flag down an officer nearby.
09:42David, the victim was hospitalized with wrist injuries consistent with being bound and cuts to his face.

10:35Get dressed. We're going to kill Kid Cuddy, Clark recalled Combs telling her, but the rapper wasn't home at the time.
10:41Prosecutors are trying to prove Combs used kidnapping as part of a criminal enterprise, an allegation he has denied.
10:47Clark telling the jury Combs held her until Ventura agreed to see him.
10:51He told me to tell Cassie that he has me and he's not going to let me go.
10:55Another time, Clark testified one of Combs' bodyguards, known as Uncle Pauly, brought her to a dilapidated space at Bad Boy Entertainment
11:01where a very wide, very heavy, chain-smoking man subjected her to five days of lie detector tests
11:07after Combs suspected her of stealing jewelry he wore at one of his famous white parties in the Hamptons.
11:13If she flunked the test, she remembered the man telling her, they're going to throw you in the East River.
11:19Kidnapping is just one part of the alleged racketeering conspiracy.

12:13It's the ninth try for SpaceX.
12:15The last one in March ended in disaster.
12:17After multiple engines shut down, they lost contact with the spacecraft and it exploded.
12:22Flaming debris raining down on Florida and the Caribbean, visible to passengers on planes.
12:27Back in January, another failure when strong vibrations caused a fuel leak and another explosion.
12:33But in both cases, the giant reusable booster that carries the spaceship performed spectacularly,
12:39returning to the pad, caught by those giant chopsticks.
