00:01PAS has backed calls for a thorough investigation and firm action over a blunder involving an illustration of the Jalo Gemilang

00:09in the promotional material for a gathering organized by its state chapter in Terengganu.

00:15PAS Secretary-General Takiyudin Hassan acknowledged the incident involving the logo for the Himpunan Teguh Memimpin Terengganu 2025,

00:23which depicted an incomplete national flag with incorrect star points and stripes.

00:30Upon being alerted, Terengganu PAS issued a public apology and corrected the error.

00:35Disciplinary action was also taken against the personnel involved.

00:40In a statement, Takiyudin said PAS firmly agrees that an apology alone should not be accepted as a sufficient resolution for such errors.

00:49He said that while PAS welcomed the internal steps taken by those involved,

00:53the party also supported efforts by the authorities to carry out their duties under the law with transparency,

00:59fairness and firmness to prevent such incidents from recurring.

01:04He said PAS believes that all parties have a duty to show the utmost respect and pride for national symbols at all times

01:11as a reflection of national identity and patriotism.
