00:00Burnt bones, believed to be human remains, were discovered along salt mine trace Faisabad this morning during the search for a missing man.
00:08The discovery was made by members of the Hunter's Search and Rescue team, led by Valance Rambarat, alongside TTPS officers.
00:16They had only minutes before began searching the area for 55-year-old Agananpagu Ramjit,
00:23who was last seen alive on Saturday evening, a short distance from where he lived.
00:30What we do know is just behind me on the left, he was seen there on the evening of the 3rd of May,
00:38and they were actually cooking and having a good line.
00:42And then after that, he was never seen.
00:46There were burnt mango branches on the ground, and when we removed those burnt mango branches,
00:54we were able to detect what appears to be large burnt vertebral bones and other fragments.
01:05The bones recovered from the burnt heap were removed from the site for forensic analysis.
01:10Looking on as crime scene investigators examined the heap, the sister of the missing man said,
01:16if it turns out to be that her brother was killed, he did not deserve that type of death.
01:21It shouldn't happen, it shouldn't happen, it doesn't matter how he was and how he is.
01:35At least, run him now, tell him, you know, don't do that.
01:40I don't know, whoever do him now, I don't know, these people, it's human, we know whatever it is.
01:47I don't know, go around, or no, no.
