00:10and this is Beltane Celtic Fire Festival. So what could you tell me is happening here today?

00:14So we are celebrating a version of the Ancient Celtic Festival Beltane. We have very little

00:20information about how exactly it was celebrated but we like to celebrate with lots of booze,

00:24some folk music and a couple of re-enactment battles. I understand you sold out today,

00:29what makes it so popular? That's a great question. I think events like this are seeing a rise in

00:35popularity at the moment as people are looking for somewhere different to celebrate. People are

00:40looking for a return to the old ways, for a slower, more meaningful life and that kind of community

00:45connection and we really find that people can find their people here at Beltane. Is there anything

00:50else you'd like to add? Only that Beltane Celtic Fire Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

00:56Butser Ancient Farm is an active research and educational site and we rely on donations and

01:03football through Beltane because we are completely independent and are not-for-profit.
