Chief Secretary is hopeful the relationship between Central Government and the THA would be better under the present UNC Government.

Mr. Augustine spoke on Thursday when questioned by reporters, at President's House in Port of Spain.

00:00I'm hopeful that the relationship will be better this time around. One will
00:05appreciate that the PNM is our natural political enemy in Tobago and certainly
00:12some of those sentiments found their way in the relationship between the
00:17THA and the central government then. So I am in fact hopeful that that will
00:22change and that things will progress in a better way.
00:26Everyone is my friend. I'm a Christian so I don't believe in making enemies. Even
00:33even those who don't treat you well. It's interesting this passage of scripture that
00:40the Prime Minister chose to read this afternoon. Even those that don't treat you
00:44well, the good book says that you must treat them well, give them a glass of water
00:48and instead of doing you are heaping pores of fire on their head. So everyone is my
00:52friend, including the now disposed of Prime Minister and ex-Prime Minister and
00:58ex-Cabinets. I see all of them as my friends.
