00:00Portia, my girl, what are you doing?

00:03I hate how Portia looked in this episode.

00:06It really gave mean girl.

00:09And while she said, you know, I never made Drew feel uncomfortable,

00:13at the same time, it was very clear how you were feeling.

00:17And while she did say Dennis is the person who owns her loyalty,

00:22it seems like the aggression,

00:24we only saw the aggression on the side of you giving it to Drew

00:28and kind of giving it to Angela as well.

00:31Okay, well, I want to address the elephant in the room.

00:33Portia, I just want to say happy birthday.

00:35I know I wasn't invited necessarily by you,

00:39but I want to ask the question,

00:40are you good with me being here because I know I wasn't invited?

00:44You're straight.

00:44All right, ladies, got y'all's on the trays.

00:47Anybody else want fish?

00:48Hey, Essies, we are back,

00:50and it is episode eight of The Real Housewives of Atlanta,

00:52so let's get into it.

00:53So the ladies are in Nashville for Portia's birthday trip,

00:56and things were heating up at the dinner table

00:58because, of course, someone asked the question,

01:01where was Drew?

01:02And obviously, Angela is fighting for Drew's honor by herself,

01:06and she is losing this battle, honestly.

01:09And she wants to advocate for her friend

01:11and stand 10 toes down,

01:13but it's just not looking good.

01:15And I also think,

01:16given the reason why Portia and Drew aren't good,

01:20I think there's wrong on both sides.

01:22But I don't know that you should be actively advocating

01:26on Drew's behalf in that sort of way,

01:28at least not at Portia's birthday party, you know?

01:31Drew finally shows up,

01:32and we all know how Housewives group trips go,

01:36and she lands the room with the bunk beds.

01:38Once she's there, she's chatting it up with Angela,

01:41and Angela encourages her to have a conversation with Portia,

01:44and Drew's kind of like, why?

01:46And Angela is sharing, like,

01:48so I can get some of this heat off of me.

01:50Being in the hot seat is a little well-deserved,

01:52because you fought for Drew to be here,

01:54and now she's here,

01:55and now Portia is equally upset with you,

01:58as she is with Drew.

01:59There was another moment in the episode,

02:01the ladies are all in the sprinter van,

02:02headed to Whiskey Tasting and Coyote Ugly,

02:05and Shamia opens up about her issues in the past

02:09with domestic violence,

02:10and it was something that I really appreciated,

02:11just because it humanizes these Housewives for us.

02:15Like, those are the moments where we find

02:17a little bit of relatability with some of these ladies.

02:19At Coyote Ugly, Kelly, Shamia, and Portia

02:23are all chatting about the night before,

02:25and Portia thinks that Angela is setting Drew up for failure,

02:29essentially, because why advocate so hard for Drew to be here,

02:33and you know that we have issues,

02:35and everybody's kind of giving that sort of side-eye to Drew

02:38because of how I feel on my birthday trip.

02:41I just feel like you wanted Drew to come,

02:44even though Portia was like, she's not invited.

02:47She's never told me that.

02:48On the pause, she actually did say,

02:50everybody that's on this call is invited.

02:52Okay, but she did not say Drew wasn't invited,

02:54so maybe I need to say here's a...

02:54But Drew wasn't on the call.

02:56Maybe Drew missed the call.

02:58Drew, did you miss the call?

02:59I wasn't on the call.

03:00Were you invited to the call?

03:02No.

03:04Portia reveals that someone called her

03:07and said that Dennis ended up filming with Drew,

03:11which is something in earlier episodes she had explicitly asked him not to do.

03:16And so you can kind of see the whole vibe of the dinner change.

03:20And then so towards the end of the night, after dinner,

03:23everybody's kind of like, let's leave that in the past.

03:26Let's all go to the pool.

03:28Angela stays upstairs.

03:29She's getting ready for bed.

03:30All the other ladies are outside.

03:32They start kind of gossiping about Angela

03:34and people are bringing up issues with her husband,

03:38other kids, all of those things.

03:40And Portia drops a bomb about potentially sleeping with Charles.

03:46Portia denies it in her confessional when she says,

03:49I didn't say anything.

03:51But I love Kelly because Kelly absolutely verified

03:55that Portia did in fact say that.

03:57And it was so funny because Angela made a point to say,

04:01if history is any indicator, you got to take that seriously.

04:05You better listen when Portia says she want to f*** your husband.

04:08This episode really made me like Angela a little bit more.

04:11I truly, truly do.

04:13And I'm interested to see the next episode

04:16because Cynthia is going to throw a bailey cue.

04:18So we're going to see how all that goes down.
