01:38When I found that I was creative director for this I immediately went to their old stuff first and immersed myself into their catalog and I saw who were their influence you could tell right away who were their influence so I immediately went to TLC I went to Destiny's Child I went to all the local Atlanta like black 702 just all the
02:07girl groups I saw that I wanted to combine their references with their youth with what the future is now you know what I mean just trying to embody all of that into one magic ball
02:21Very excited for this tour it's our first headlining tour everybody all components look at Anthony right here yes he's been killing us in a great way making sure we are great and we appreciate that every day

03:44What's up y'all this is Gordie Maxx I am musical director arranger drummer for OMG girls right now we are making edits to the song make a scene we are basically making a better transition
03:56Gordie is amazing he's an amazing musician and I think he just really put a lot into the sound of the show because we really have to tell a story with the music
04:13Today feels absolutely amazing I think because we've been in rehearsal for the past month just like getting it right now it's kind of just getting everything else surrounding the show right integrating everybody into what we've been rehearsing
04:27It's been a lot of hard work it has not been easy we've been having 10 to 12 hour days pretty much every day this month
04:32Dancing is not something that I really enjoy doing or learning but I feel like this process kind of made me come to love it
04:40I definitely think that me feeding into that insecurity of like feeling like I couldn't dance is kind of what was stopping me from progressing
04:48And I think that throughout this process it just kind of awakened something in me to be like you know what I have to dance and it has to look good
04:56And as you can see you hear that voice it's raspy well I have a naturally raspy voice but it's hoarse because I may have used it a little too much
05:09Myself I am not just rapping I am also singing so I'm a person that likes to hype people up when I'm having a good time and I've had to
05:17Keep it quiet because she'll go away and go on vacation and then I have to go find her and sometimes she just takes longer than what it should
05:25So I put myself on vocal rest made sure I stayed on top of my green teas and honey and taking care of the vocal cords better

05:41The long rehearsals have been really crazy trying to juggle being a parent and being an artist

05:59I feel like as moms when we can't always be there for our kids we put all this pressure on ourselves and feel like

06:06So I have to remind myself that when my kid is not with me. She is still fine
06:12Watching Zhanique as a mother and juggling her career
06:15It just reminds me of myself because when she was Hunter's age. I was doing the same thing
06:20So it's like I loved seeing her in her element and I'm glad that Hunter is able to see her in her element
06:27And they see you in that light. They get to see who mommy is and what they really do
06:31And I love that for her and she's doing a great job

09:13I think that this show is definitely a true reflection of like who we are as individuals and as a group
09:18It shows um, just us in a new light just us being mature, you know, really just grown women
09:24I've worked with Gordy in the past, you know, I felt like he has a young youthful fresh perspective
09:38And it works for what these young ladies are doing for their reemergence
09:42I just enjoy being able to like come in and just tell him my ideas and he'll execute
09:47So yeah, I debuted the intro yesterday in my process of creating and arranging
09:51I typically do my intros last to kind of gives me that bigger picture idea and how I should move
09:57And it's crazy because I did it maybe about three to four hours before debuting because I was I was just in my head about it
10:03I wanted to make sure that the intro was what it needed to be
10:06It took every bit of the third day of rehearsal to be like I got an intro the pressure was on for sure this week
