The Contractors and General Workers' Trade Union has become the third Trade Union to settle wage negotiations with the Chief Personnel Officer this week.

Prime Minister Young called the promised wage increases coming from the United National Congress "nonsense", maintaining that the country just cannot afford it.

00:20And tonight, I congratulate the Contractor and General Workers Trade Union for today's signing an agreement for their workers outstanding since 2013.
00:37Two bargaining periods have been covered under the signing, 2014 to 2016 and 2017 to 2019.
