The president general of the Oilfields Workers Trade Union says that he is confident the UNC led- Government will meet its campaign promises which include a 10 per cent wage offer for public servants.

The leader of the OWTU was responding to a question from TV6 News during an AMCHAM T&T conference on Tuesday.

00:00But you also have the issue of unions like the PSC who are asking for their 10% promise by the government.
00:08What does the OWTU's take on that issue?
00:11We are confident that that will come to fruition in the fullness of time.
00:15The timeline for that I'm not allowed to liberty to say.
00:18But we are fully confident that all of the campaign promises made by the Prime Minister,
00:26then opposition leader, but now Prime Minister.
00:28And by the way, it's the brightest Prime Minister we have had in history in this country.
00:35And that is the Prime Minister that we are working with to take this country forward.
00:39So we are confident about all of the campaign promises, not just the 10%, but all of the other promises.
