00:24has a bunch of guys who have been in this a lot with three starters with over a hundred games each

00:38rockets getting their amen brother how much of this how big a factor is that i think it's a big
00:44factor i like experience especially championship experience you know nobody is expecting golden
00:48state to win you know with the addition of jimmy butler you see he had 38 in the playing game if
00:54he can give me 20 to 25 consistently and steph be super stuff not regular self super stuff last time
01:00they played the rockets i think he only had three points so i look for him to have a big game but

01:10youthful energy of the houston rockets but i'm always go with uh chef curry the rockets are the most
01:16talented team uh that between the two the more talented team is the rockets without question however
01:23what they have to be aware of is down the stretch who do i go to am i going to green am i going to
01:30van fleet am i going to sangoon where the golden state worry is no we're starting with cleft staff
01:36and we're ending with stuff so there's a game plan in close games so five or more i'm going rockets

04:14we've got terrific matchups all over the floor and this series will be about experience and we're
04:20going to start at the head of the snake stephen curry 142nd start in the playoffs who's guarding him
04:26tonight amen thompson making his first so it'll be about attention to details and staying discipline
04:33for thompson all right widen your lens size up this 2-7 matchup for us i don't think i've ever been
04:39associated with a 2-7 matchup that has all the makings of being an all-time classic the warriors
04:45have the experience and arguably the two best players in the series and stephen curry and jimmy
04:50butler both can carry a team to new heights but on the flip side the rockets they are loaded with young
04:57talent and they get after you defensively alberon shane goon the rockets all-star he is a walking
05:04double double double but the main reason why this series could be a classic frankly both teams they
05:10do not like one another and that sets the stage for good basketball they played each other five times
05:20and here in houston the warriors are two and one this season the place is packed they haven't had a home
05:30one playoff game in this building and in this city since 2019. in 2020 they were in the playoffs but
05:38you recall that was in the bubble in orlando tonight's officials are crew chief james capers

06:24and underneath thompson could not slam it and there's a whistle and a foul inside
06:29did you see the lift up there from thompson i mean the pass was phenomenal from shangun
06:37but look at this green picking up his first foul something to monitor
06:44he cannot get in foul trouble because he is so important defensively to everything the warriors want
06:49to do so here is the 68 free throw shooter thompson and among the best second year players reggie in the nba
06:57in the top three of second year players in points rebound and assists you see the coaches ame yudoka
07:05who is in his second year and done an incredible job he inherited a 22 win team a couple years ago
07:14they went from 22 wins his first year they won 41 and 41 this year 52 and 30. and at this level of
07:22basketball the team takes on the identity and personality of its head coach and this team
07:28is in every way eme yudoka tough gritty get up gets after you defensively shangun goes steamrolling
07:35into green that's a foul on shangun the all-star well there's a reason why draymond green is a finalist
07:42for defensive player of the year he understands where to be at the right time at the right place
07:49picking up a quick one on shangun well you talked about in the open the experience on the floor for

08:00and this is thompson over butler part of his game that has really improved in his mid-range game
08:17and there's thompson top rocking curry face guarding him he's not even worried about where the ball is

17:20here comes the dynamic jalen green and they got their best perimeter defender on him and
17:27that is gary payton green swerves inside what a play what a move
17:38it is post outside open for three and a couple the other night in that playing game in san francisco
17:44against the grizzlies van vliet the cross over the drive and on the fly he puts it up
17:49payton will grab it moody has got the ball and golden state the other way

18:05so green is on curry van vliet oh it's a steal it's picked up by eason

25:30offensively you started five of 16. i don't think of this team as a team that would have any
25:34playoff jitters so how do you settle into the flow of your offense well we know they're going to get
25:38out to a hot start uh we gave them some easy ones to turn over so so they can get in transition so
25:42we take care of the ball and settle in we'll be all right

31:03it's van vleet on the wing he's a crafty player but he's rugged to one of the strongest on the team
31:08but that three is all created by the defensive identity of tarry eason already two steals here in this first half

34:57from 40 to 44 minutes tonight whereas curry will probably be held anywhere from 33 to 34 minutes and
35:04another turnover this defense once again led by jimmy butler coming up big here in the second quarter
