01:41Whose broad stripes and bright stars
01:48Through the perilous fight
01:53O'er the ramparts we watched
01:58Were so gallantly streaming
02:03And the rocket's red glare
02:05And the rocket's red glare
02:09The bombs bursting in air
02:13Gave proof through the night
02:18That our flag was still there
02:24Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
02:35O'er the land of the free

05:01Now, let's meet the starting lineup for your 20-25 Western Conference Champion, Oklahoma City, Sundown!
05:31Starting again, 6'4", from Arizona State, number five, Lucas Thorne!

06:01And center, 7'4", from Germany, number 55, Isaiah Arnstein!
06:15And forward, 7'1", from Kentucky, number seven, Sean Arnstein!
06:27And in card, 6'6", from Kentucky, number two, C, gorgeous, Alexander!
06:45Now, the electricity in this building right now, what you would expect in a Game 7.
07:01And then some, wow, this crowd's so into it.
07:05As we welcome in for the first time, Lisa Salters. Hey, Lisa!
07:08Hey, Michael, Richard talked about it, what these players are feeling right now, just moments before tip-off.
07:13Tyrese Halliburton said his biggest job as leader of this team is going to be to be calm and to remind his guys that they have everything that they need.
07:23Miles Turner said he'll be taking everything in because after 10 seasons, he just feels blessed to have this opportunity to finally bring a championship to Indiana.
07:33OKC has been talking about getting lost in the game.
07:36Jalen Williams said the ups and downs would be like nothing they've ever experienced and that they've got to manage their emotions throughout.
07:44And SGA said it's not even about pressure anymore, it's about who wants it more.
07:49He said somebody is going to achieve their dream tonight.
07:52Do I achieve mine, or do they take it from me?
07:56Well, Lisa, almost nine months ago, 30 teams gathered for the 24-25 season.
08:02Only two remain, and tonight we finally decide a champion.
08:09Now, Richard, in a playoff series, normally there's no really carryover from one game to the next.
08:16But game six was a stunning performance, one of the great victories in the history of the Pacers, and they really outplayed OKC.
08:23Any carryover from that game to tonight?
08:26100% there's a carryover. There's a carryover of confidence.
08:29If we can win by 30 on our home court, we can win by one point here in this building.
08:34It's up to OKC.
08:36Always in games like this, it'll be fascinating to see who puts their fingerprints on this game and on NBA history.
08:44And what a gift for the NBA fan, although it's been torture from both the fans of the Pacers and the Thunder at times.
08:52Indiana's been terrific on the road in the playoffs.
08:57OKC nearly unbeatable at all.
08:59Nembhard knocks down the first shot of the night.
09:01So first possession of the basketball game, the guy handling it was Andrew Nembhard.
09:06Playing in pick and roll, he calmly walks into a jump shot.
09:11Obviously the second consecutive elimination game for Indiana, shot blocked by Neesmith.
09:16On a Jenny Williams jumper.
09:20It is such a confident team, these Indiana Pacers.
09:23Turner fakes.
09:25Halliburton, off the bounce, now fires up a three.
09:29And a foul ball.
09:33So obviously Tyrese Halliburton still dealing with that calf strength.
09:37So first play is pick and roll action between Nembhard and Turner.
09:41He just gets right to the sweet spot of his mid-range.
09:44First foul on Dorton.
09:46Turner lines it up.
09:47Can't get it to fall.
09:48Holmgren with the rebound.
09:50OKC ten and two on their home floor in the playoffs.
09:53But that includes the game one loss to these Pacers where they blew a big fourth quarter lead.
09:58Gilders Alexander finds some space, knocks down his first shot.
10:05And again, Lou Dort picks up Tyrese Halliburton, is back to Andrew Nembhard.
10:11Siakam left wide open.
10:13And Pascal Siakam buries his first three-pointer.
10:16What a playoff run he has had.
10:18But look at the pick-up point.
10:19They're picking them up at half-court.
10:21Throughout these series, they've always been a full-court pressure team.
10:24Last game was the first game that they backed it up to half-court.
10:27Similar defense tonight.
10:29And it clearly worked.
10:30Lower-scoring game of the season for the Thunder.
10:34Gilders Alexander, well defended.
10:36Trying to get a shot off.
10:37Ball poked away.
10:38Shot clock down to two.
10:39He's got to put it up.
10:40Just gets it off in time.
10:42Can't get it to fall.
10:43And the rebound taken by Siakam.
10:45And a loose ball foul against Holmgren.
10:51Well, it's probably the most underrated part of this Pacers journey to a Game 7 is how quality
10:56their defense has been.
10:58How uncomfortable they have made things for, at times, Shea Gilders Alexander.
11:03Defend!
11:05Defend!
11:06Defend!
11:07Defend!
11:08Defend!
11:09Defend!
11:10Defend!
11:11Defend!
11:12Defend!
11:13Defend!
11:14Nimhard gets inside.
11:15Blocked by Holmgren.
11:16Right back to Nimhard.
11:17Shot clock at five.
11:19Siakam pulls up along the baseline.
11:22The defense of Holmgren, he has struggled offensively at times in these finals.
11:26But his defense has been superb.
11:29As G.A. gets inside.
11:31Drawing the contact.
11:32And right now, your heart is pumping.
11:37It is just pumping so fast.
11:38You're actively telling your brain, calm down.
11:41Take a deep breath.
11:42That first win, that first win, that second win, that second win can't come fast enough
11:46in these moments.
11:47Nismith picks up the foul.
11:50Nimhard and Nismith have had quite the task defending this OJC squad.
11:56Nismith's on Jaylen Williams.
11:58Nimhard on SGA.
12:00Gilders Alexander.
12:04It was right at him.
12:05Baseline jumper is good.
12:07The ability to navigate one-on-one situations into your sweet spot.
12:14That is SGA at his best.
12:16Allibert gets inside.
12:19Shot blocked.
12:22Here come the thunder.
12:29Here to help defense that time.
12:31From Turner.
12:32Hearnstein kicks it out.
12:34Williams had a brilliant Game 5 struggle in Game 6.
12:39Holmgren against Siakam.
12:41Spins, turns, and gets the bounce.
12:44Tori chasing Allibert.
12:56Good screen set by Siakam.
12:57Tori fighting over the screen.
12:59Spins, Siakam!
13:00More so vị is going to be able to be fit on the floor.
13:02Faye kicks it back out.
13:04Siakam, Allibert lines up a long three-pointer.
13:06Long three-pointer got it
13:10Aliburton only had to play 23 minutes in game six because of the blowout the way it was
13:16That his cap is a little tight little sore
13:19But he played an excellent game
13:27Williams on the drive forces up a shot good defense from Seattle
13:31Halliburton launches another one punch it in back-to-back threes for Tyrese Halliburton and a quick five-point lead for the Pacers
13:41Well, this is one of those moments if you're okay. See. Okay. What do we want to do? What shot do we want to get?
13:46How do we want to attack them?
13:50Arch died back door for Lou Dort gets inside
13:54Little razzle-dazzle from Dort
14:01The action daughter by Hochstadt along with the double bigs to start again
14:15This is the second game seven of the playoffs for OKC is SGA goes inside
14:21And a late whistle on a foul rip Carlisle not happy free throws the gilch's Alexander
14:31And Lou Dort with the back door cut
14:35Wrenches his first language, but he knows how to use English on that backboard
14:40And then this just happened and this sequence right here has been pivotal all series
14:46When they haven't been able to contain
14:49Shea at the point of attack he gets downhill and gets here
14:53Game six Richard a much better job by Indiana
14:57If you're gonna press up and send two you've got to contain the ball too often in their wins
15:03He's splitting that action and getting to the free throw line that foul by the way on knee Smith
15:09In the first six games knees that fouled out twice 26 total fouls. He's a great defender
15:14Well, I don't even found difficulty and I think
15:17Checks in for the first time Alex Caruso the super sub for OKC also in and mind you
15:23I don't mean to intimate that containing Shea with the ball is an easy thing to do
15:30Halliburton very aggressive looking for his shot another three-point attempt that one short Williams tips it but
15:36right there to pick it up
15:38Halliburton tries again Halliburton hits again his third three-pointer already
15:43And a timeout Mark Dignal he's upset with the officials probably upset with Halliburton as well
15:49What a start for Tyrese Halliburton
15:55Again you want to try and find a way to make an impact
15:58Offensive foul by mathron that gets them a second shot and Tyrese two for a dollar knocks it down
16:04Pacer fans packing game bridge field house boy, do they have a party in game six now?
16:18We'll cheer from long distance for their pacers
16:21Of an early four-point lead Tyrese Halliburton first five games of the finals he shot just 29 percent
16:28From three-point range but in game six and so far tonight. He's hit six of the last 11
16:33O.B. Toppen has checked in for the first time
16:44SGA to Caruso Caruso lines up the three that's good
16:47Or he is shot 40 percent the three-point range during these playoffs defense goes with the roller
16:54We send two at Shea and that means Alex gets to line it up
16:58They're more aggressive shut off by Caruso
17:02Halliburton searching
17:05Lobs it Nimhard
17:07Turner nice fake
17:09Extra pass mathron checks his feet shot clock winding down
17:13Now fires up a three well short and harkstein a rebound
17:17They passed up a couple of open looks first
17:23Dayla Williams falls down Nimhard jumps on top they're fighting for it to jump ball
17:36And OKC has struggled knocking down threes consistently so this is a good sign of all players play better at home
17:43Alex Caruso has been a star there is no one within 10 feet of them
17:47And that's what you want to see them knocking down open shots especially off passes from sga and j-dub
17:55The officials going over to the scores table probably checking to see whether or not they should have reset the shot clock
18:00Was there a change of possession?
18:02Right now the shot clock says 24
18:04So they'll reset it there was not
18:07Archstein and Nimhard will jump
18:13So they'll reset it there was not
18:16Possession so they'll put it back to 12
18:21Awkward toss
18:23They're gonna do it again. Don't see that very often
18:27No, we saw a foul on a jump ball. Yes earlier in this seat in this series though
18:31An official also get clobbered what Jalen Williams is saying that Nimhard grabbed his wrist
18:36I don't think that's what the officials are discussing
18:41So they'll do it again. It's not the easiest thing it might seem easy
18:45But to get the toss players supposed to wait till the ball hits its apex that
18:49Frequently does not happen
18:52And the thunder get it with the shot clock already down to eight
18:54They greet sga at half court gets past turner kicks it out caruso gets another good look from three that's good caruso off the bench with back-to-back threes
19:09Halliburton off the bounce dork right with him
19:14Nimhard draws a foul
19:16So rich this is the same thing and again, it's been such a pivot point in the series
19:24Screen comes high. He rejects it. But again, you don't contain the ball. He's downhill
19:31They're gonna swarm and it's target practice to a shooter alex caruso shay just making the right decisions
19:38jayla williams his first foul
19:41Nimhard
19:42Two free throws hits the first abc espn wednesday the nba draft presented by state farm first round
19:48At 8 eastern then thursday on espn
19:52The second round also sponsored by state farm at 8 eastern
19:56Nimhard
19:57Played an important role in game six remember the pacers fell behind 10 to 2 they missed their first eight shots
20:04But nimhard hit two big threes at eight points in the first quarter
20:09And the pacers recovered from that slow start
20:13Cason wallace in caruso aggressive drives can't finish turn of the rebound
20:18Alliburton pushes
20:25Alliburton against sga one-on-one on that side
20:28If on kicks it out top it
20:34Good contestant door, however falls down he looks hurt there comes sga the other way inside and williams throws it down
20:42Halliburton's hurt right away when he fell
20:45Well
20:48That strained calf he's in pain so emotional
20:52Gets the right calf right away
21:04He knew he was in trouble
21:05Oh
21:07Oh you get in a situation like this you just sick to your stomach for the young man
21:11Oh
21:15We'll take a timeout
21:25Tyrese alliburton in game five
21:31On the same court in the same spot
21:33That's where he strained the calf he played more later in the game
21:38Clearly was bothered got some treatment and played 23 minutes in game six
21:42And here's tonight right away
21:46He talked about the risk as you see the entire team surrounding him
21:50He knew the risk but it meant so much for him to be out there with his teammates
21:54There was no way he wasn't going to play
21:57And played well and helped inspire the team for that game six victory
22:01Such joy for Alliburton after game six but now such pain both physical and emotional
22:08TJ mcconnell will come in those right at wallace turn shoots can't get it
22:1224 second violation now this is sick one of the most lovable players in this league one of the best young leaders in this team his father
22:26Struggling with this moment, but if you're indiana you still have work to do
22:32Caruso lines it up can't get that one after the rebound
22:36They do have two excellent backup point guards obviously tj mcconnell
22:41And dimhart also a superb backup point guard
22:45Siakam
22:46Goes inside the drive to finish
22:49And a whistle and a foul so a chance for a three-point play
22:52Well, they're certainly going to need a more aggressive
22:54Offensive effort from pascal siakam
22:57And the beauty of this guy's game richard is you can shift him all over the floor
23:01They like to isolate him at the free throw line he can pick do I attack left or right and here's the facts
23:08Indiana plays the game differently with tj mcconnell versus tyrese halliburton
23:14But tj is a north-south attacker and to this point
23:18They have not been able to contain him when he's going north and south
23:22He has got to be great the russo the foul
23:25Richard what's it like when you're on a team and your star player a key player goes down and you can see
23:30It's a serious injury. This is a unique situation because obviously game seven are the marbles
23:36But I know for tyrese if this team can rally and pull off a victory tonight
23:41That's the best thing that you can do for tyrese if you're them not worrying about him in this moment
23:47Gildas alexander misses these patients have bounced back shown their resiliency all season long
23:52This is the ultimate test of resiliency
23:56Matherin drives on Holmgren flips it up shot won't go caruso with a rebound
24:03And shepherd is come on kendridge williams as well sga to caruso they're leaving caruso open
24:09Doesn't make a pay that time homeroom tips at the williams back up top
24:13shot block at six
24:19Gildas alexander the drive stops on the bank pulls up knocks it down
24:23Boy holmgren has been a dominant person at the rim and then gets him an extra possession on that one
24:31Obi toppen the drive bank shot missed it holmgren tough rebound
24:43McConnell guarding sga one-on-one
24:47Trying to pump it holmgren fakes holmgren drives the floater in the bank is good
24:56Thunder shooting 56 percent from the field
25:00They struggle offensively in game six the Pacers defense is extraordinary
25:05Defend! Defend! Defend! Defend! Defend!
25:11Siakam high-locking jump shot
25:15They will need a huge game from pascal siakam seven points here for the first and they can get a huge game from pascal siakam
25:22He is the one quote-unquote small that has the advantage over every okc defendant
25:28They extend the defense out bathroom now backs off on gilgis alexander
25:37Drives on a step back excellent defense has to force up like a tested shot napford played him beautifully
25:45McConnell shepherd
25:46D.J. McConnell has been the ultimate spark off the bench
25:57Rifles a pass stolen by caruso
26:00Three turnovers for indiana and always the critical number when you're playing against this okc defense they have yet to turn it over the thunder
26:09That's a little fancy wallace now shot clock winding down he's got to put it up
26:23And just gets it off the top but it did not hit the rim there's their first turnover on a 24 second violation
26:30And siakam we talk about the size advantage that he has you have chet holmgren
26:35Guarding him but chet holmgren is not in a great position to do that so pascal siakam can pretty much get anything
26:42He won off the dribble off the drive the one area he doesn't have an advantage against chet is in the post
26:48Norris this is a indiana team that shares the ball well everybody scores everybody contributes such a great passing team
26:55But it's the opposite does he have to look to be more aggressive than normal?
26:58I don't think there's any question mike if there's a mismatch in the post he's got to go at that in transition
27:03He's got to be of course
27:06Wallace back up top jaylen williams
27:09henrich williams three-pointer
27:12Will go out of bounds pacer ball with just under a minute remaining
27:16here in this first quarter
27:18This crowd standing the entire opening period
27:34He's got to go out of bounds
27:38He's got to go out of bounds
27:40Matherin gets inside comes up short
27:43Nice second effort
27:44Matherin backs it home at that 27-point game earlier in the season or in the series
27:49He is certainly capable of a big offensive night
27:57Williams to drive williams a finish tough shot with a left hand
28:02And he drives right hard two dribbles to set up that left hand
28:06Shot clock turned off
28:10No fouls to give
28:17Wallace takes it away looking for someone to get it to
28:20Four seconds remaining
28:21Holmgren two seconds remaining throws it up shot long goal but a foul with 1.3 remaining
28:28McConnell the foul Holmgren
28:33Will go to the line what a play from case and wallace make no mistake case and wallace knows containing tj is a big part of the evening
28:40Get down in the stance one-on-one defense force a turnover and get your team out in transition
28:46That is beautifully done pressure up top
28:53But up here tj had a legitimate right case and wallace is grabbing his wrist tj's looking at the ref
29:00And you could see him grabbing his replay are you're going to let him do that
29:03That's preventing him from handling the ball
29:06And then when he tried to put it down
29:07That's when case and laws was able to get this deal
29:09But that was literally in front of the referee because it was right in front of us
29:14Wallace upset with something but 21 year old he is a defensive demon
29:18Holmgren one more shot
29:22Hits the second one
29:28But kind of look to throw it down the floor
29:30Siakam catches it just gets it off in time and hits the rim terrific attempt
29:36But comes up short right now
29:38The number one story here in game center to these finals is tyrese halliburton playing with that strained calf went down clearly in pain
29:48And lift back waiting for an update, but it did not look good
29:51It's time for tonight's access brought to you by verizon miles
30:01What did you think when you saw tyrese go down like that?
30:04Oh, it's a heartbreak man, it's unfortunate you know biggest game of the year that
30:07You know injury didn't like hold up on but you know we got his back
30:11And it's what it's uh it's all about man next minute mentality
30:13I know that you're all thinking about him, but like you said you've still got a job to do
30:17So, how do you get it done without him and you keep it and keep it in your mind. Give me your heart and go win for him
30:23Alright, Lisa do not count out these indiana pacers as matherin ties the game at 25
30:30Shepard good defense on jaylen williams
30:33Caruso markstein tries another one this time draws the foul
30:38Bradley the foul as we go to lisa
30:41Hey night, well first take a listen to the last indiana pacers huddle
30:48You can see pascal siakam just trying to rally his guys telling them we're still in this despite their heartbreak telling them
30:55Look, we can't keep forcing the ball got to move the ball play our game
30:59But they're feeling such heartbreak right now pascal just trying to rally the guys letting him know
31:04We're still in this still got a job to do like getting over his loss emotionally is the first step
31:11the second step is
31:13Certain things that he does that nobody on the team can do what's what are they going to miss the most with alabert now?
31:18Well, it's really that the the continue a continuation of his pace his passing his shot creation
31:24And in this game early it was his shot making but like like he said you've got to move on
31:30It's one of the most difficult things that app we can do
31:32But you still have an opportunity to win it at an nba championship
31:36siakam foul
31:39I believe they'll call it in the act of shooting
31:42Two more free throws for pascal siakam wallace picks up his first this this is off a switch
31:48And this is what I was talking about mike when he's got the opportunity in the post
31:53Which is where he caught this and he's got a small on him
31:56He's got to get something out of it. He gets a couple of free throws so great execution by indiana
32:01He's got a lot of free throws
32:03He's got a lot of free throws
32:05He's got a lot of free throws
32:07360 so steady so reliable
32:10As it's time for triad free throws with youtube tv scan the qr code to unlock your five-day free trial
32:16And get your favorite sports and live tv in one app
32:22He is turned into a spectacular playoff performer
32:25Did it for toronto when the raptors won in 2019
32:29As the mvp the eastern conference final
32:33And it's been excellent in his second nba finals
32:38Maces back up by one
32:42Taylor williams
32:44Bradley guarding in williams steps back three-pointer short rebound tip by wiggins
32:55Backdoor caruso and hartstein with the assist
33:00That's beautiful movement a simple screen away and slip defense gets confused and when you have a passer like hartstein
33:07Makes it easy
33:08That's right nice pass inside and bradley's foul jayla williams picks up his second
33:16Again we talk about simple basketball
33:19You try and change directions now look i'm going to go screen away and slip out
33:23When you throw that ball to hartstein you know that he's looking to pass
33:27So that is just a smart play by caruso fake the screen slip out before they can switch
33:32Bradley who was playing his third straight game he missed 18 days
33:37With a left hip injury happened in game five of the conference finals
33:40He's only played prior to tonight two games in 18 minutes in the finals only 10 games
33:46Off the bench signed a 10-day contract in march and because of injuries
33:49He's become an important player he gives them size mike i have shocked at his ability with the limited experience
33:56You just touched on with the way this young man has comported himself
34:04Though it's a pair of free throws opening minutes here in the second
34:07There's aaron wiggins floats it up hartstein pushed by mcconnell that's going to be the second foul on tj mcconnell
34:22This is conferring on whether or not they should call it a shooting foul but no it's going to be a side out
34:27I love the space in here. I mean look at all the room to operate
34:33Down he goes i mean that to me is close no it's very close but i don't think he they always if you don't have complete control as you go up
34:42Don't put it on the side
34:44Archstein keeps the miss alive caruso air ball stolen by williams
34:50And a foul
34:52Bradley will pick up his second
35:03Okay see we'll take it out of bounds
35:08The shooting percentage is dropping a bit okay see down to 44 percent indiana at 41 percent
35:14Allibert was hot to start the game in three three corners mark stein inside
35:25Beautiful foul pass from williams thunder back up one
35:30McConnell
35:36Matherin is not shy very aggressive offensive player
35:40Here's shepherd jack-clock at seven stolen by caruso he dribbled into traffic
35:50And six turnovers and then a turnover by okc that's their second
35:54I've got a looking
36:05Siakam he's got the height advantage
36:08But wallace is tough
36:10Backs in turns shoots
36:13Wallace pushed him out just a little bit more than he wanted to shoot
36:16Yeah, that gets him out of his comfort zone
36:18But like i said he has the advantage to raise up over the smaller defenders from okc anytime he chooses
36:25Williams gets in the paint flips it up wild shot
36:31And yet another foul as we go to lisa
36:33Yeah mike the pacers have just made it official saying that tyrese halliburton has a right
36:38Lower leg injury he will not return
36:41And again you watch that right
36:45Right away the pain
36:48He talked so much over the past couple of weeks
36:51His dream to play in an nba finals
36:53And here he helped bring his team to a game seven
36:59Just excruciating to watch
37:01We were courtside when jason tatum
37:04Heard his achilles we were doing that game
37:07And obviously that situation was very very different
37:10But here in this moment
37:12Watching tyrese the air was taken out of the entire building
37:16The building went silent for the first time in all the games that we've ever done here
37:21You could tell that the thunder fence felt awful
37:25As we go back to lisa
37:27Am I just talking to tyrese just about how his leg was doing he's you know
37:31He said there was some soreness and pain
37:33Thought that they had been doing a great job treating him around the clock
37:37But he said honestly he came through game six much better than he thought
37:40And he thought he was in a definitely in a better space than he thought that he was going to be
37:44Like he said he knew that he was playing with the wrist
37:47But he said it was just something himself that he had to do
37:50Or else he would regret it for the rest of his life
37:52Life if he didn't give it a chance
37:54Back to lisa
37:55Well it meant so much to him to be out there with his team
37:58Is nimhard shot clock at four
38:01Pass in sight beautiful look and turner is fouled nimhard with an excellent fish
38:06So they downsized completely which means jalen williams is playing the five
38:11Which means if indiana is patient with the basketball you should be able to find the mismatch
38:16Jalen switches because you're trying to prevent the dribble drive
38:19But eventually find the five man because they don't have the size at the rim really good execution
38:27Tanner misses the free throw
38:29But one of the reasons why I think they went small like this is because pascal is outside of the game when pascal leaves the game
38:36They don't have the same type of advantage in the post with obi
38:39Yes miles turner is a stretch by he likes to play out there can roll
38:44But this is an opportunity for okc to play small
38:48Toppen has been their third leading scorer
38:51In these finals they have eight players averaging double figures
38:56But now missing their star point guard sga nice spin a trip on a foul
39:03and Martin's first
39:06For free throws for go this alexander
39:08Shea village alexander middle of the floor floor you see the arm hook by nemhart
39:16And shea just a brilliant offensive player, but I got to say this about this young kid
39:20nemhart his defense his willingness at times to go 90 feet
39:26To play 48 feet to absorb this mvp nightly and to continue to compete
39:31It has been special to watch that young man as it has been special to watch sga what a head-to-head matchup
39:38Well richard you know you go through the playoff grind for too much you're physically exhausted and you're mentally spent
39:46And now there's an emotional component
39:48There's an emotional component for both teams
39:51okc can't let up
39:53Have you see this deal?
39:54Wallace does it again wiggins has the ball picks it out gala williams
39:59And the thunder will reset
40:03Sga pulls back three-pointer
40:06They are two of eight from three-point range, but to finish my point okc now with him out they can't let up
40:13So there's an emotional component that they have to stay composed and not think that this game will be any easier
40:19Topping can't get the three turner good offensive rebound nice that lines it up. That's good
40:24That's good
40:26Six three-pointer for indiana they've tied it again, but wallace the guy having to deal with turner because again downsize
40:37Lou dork
40:40Can't answer with the three ball knock loose so be topping stolen by wallace. That's his third steal already
40:46Sga pulls up elbow jumper got it
40:58Timeout indiana gilgis alexander has 12
41:01Sga we said it in the open
41:08You want your mvp to play like it right now this team's got a two-point lead with seven to go in the half
41:16Welcome back the nba finals presented by youtube tv canada well represented in these nba finals skills
41:35this alexander and lou dork
41:38And nimhar from the patients all on the canadian national team and of course mathlin as well
41:43He was not on the national team still recovering from that shoulder injury that forced him to miss the playoffs
41:49That's a heck of a team
41:53Turner wallace on in bathroom gets it goes inside strides missed the layup
42:03Wallace walks into a three
42:05Gayson wallace big spark off the bench especially on the defensive end and the lead up to five
42:18Wallace fights over another screen poked away by caruso but nimhar there
42:23shot clock down to seven
42:25turner nice entry pass
42:28but a foul
42:31Boy it is so hard to hear the whistle here
42:34Wallace has been on the floor a ton point of attack pressure defense this time
42:38He's just going to walk into a three
42:40Shea patiently waiting for him to line up he doesn't have to dribble
42:44It's just catch and shoot in rhythm
42:47Wallace his second foul
42:51Free throws again for miles turner
42:55Turner who grew up in bedford texas cheered on dirt novitski and rick carlisle
43:00for his mavericks when they won the 2011 title
43:03Then he'd watch novitski take a shot
43:06during commercials and run outside and practice that left-handed layup
43:10He's the longest tenured pacer 10 years been through so much here
43:16Again has had an excellent defensive series
43:20They'll need some help offensively tonight
43:23Yeah, he's got to be aggressive. He's one of those players as he misses two free throws
43:27But they get the rebound
43:31Russo went for the steal McConnell pulls up
43:34Not gonna go rebound FTA
43:41It was alexander Wallace no hesitation
43:45And over the backboard face of all
43:48Well, if you're the Pacers one of the key without Tyrese Halliburton you asked Mike what they would miss
43:52His ability to lead comebacks hit late game shots without Tyrese you have to keep it an eight-point game a 10-point game
44:00Make it down big in this postseason, but with the pace of play that he creates
44:05They're able to come back. They might not have that ability without him on the floor
44:11KJ McConnell looking to get inside
44:14Holmgren discourages him tries again left that's good
44:18McConnell goes right at the seventh footer
44:26Caruso the drive picks it out in the corner of Holmgren wide open
44:32Deesmith comes away
44:35OKC struggling from three again
44:39Nimar gets inside layup off the glass took some contact backed at home timeout
44:46Thunder
44:47Their resilience is absolutely incredible
44:50You've got to sustain the emotional loss of your leader
44:54And then the next man up is TJ McConnell so dangerous operating on that baseline
44:59That's against an elite shot blocker
45:01And then Nimar taking his time going at his countryman Lou Dort
45:05Going up and finishing around contact
45:16This summer Kimmel's out the stars are in the guest hosts join Diego Luna
45:21Anthony Anderson Nicole Byer jelly roll
45:24Kumail Nanjiani and more all summer long Jimmy Kimmel live with summer guest hosts new weeknights
45:29On abc and the reaction around the nba
45:34Watching tyrese halliburton go down your heart just aches for him
45:39And that's the way everybody plays such respect for his talent
45:43And again such a leader on this team he's always smiling plays with such joy
45:48You talk about jason tatum kyrie irving
45:52Dame lillard players that have had some difficult injuries this postseason are late in the season
45:58Jalen wins now two of seven from the field indiana only down by one the fight continues
46:04D smith can't get it towards the rebound
46:14Their depth will be tested here tonight in game seven luke dork lines up three-pointer that's good
46:22Gorda shot the ball extremely well from three-point range and a four-point lead for the thunder
46:26D smith can't get it towards the end of the field
46:29Decent! Decent! Decent! Decent!
46:33McConnell keeps his dribble
46:36Now gets in the paint looking as it poked away but turner right there picks it up and knocks it down
46:41Doing such a good job of taking advantage of what he's seeing on the floor turner again navigating to an open spot
46:49Dork again this time short good boxing out from me smith
46:53It didn't wire flips it ahead
47:00Patients have been the best team sharing the ball throughout these playoffs
47:04Russo
47:06It's up to do McConnell now the switch
47:11McConnell jump shot bats curve
47:14Second field goal for timothy john mcconnell and I feel more of a letdown from okc
47:20That I have from indiana thus far after the tie recently
47:24Only drive got knocked away. Nimhar pushes
47:31Turner three-pointer
47:35Has not been able to get those to go he's just five of 27 from three in the finals got so well the first three rounds skills
47:42Alexander block by siakam
47:45Here comes McConnell
47:50Siakam tries again dishes deflected out last touch by homeroom nope it touched turner thunder ball
47:55Boy shea gilgis alexander gets himself downhill
48:00But we talked at the top of the telecast how pascal has been a stopgap defender
48:06Whether it's on ball or in this case off ball his instincts his hustle his length everything coming into play twice on the pipes
48:14And credit to nimhart not valid showing verticality not reaching in trusting your teammates to come out
48:20And the ball kicked you saw siakam in that huddle after the halliburton injury
48:28He is talked about he had to get out of his comfort zone
48:30He was such a quiet player halliburton said when they first acquired him
48:34He didn't talk much, but now he's starting to become a vocal leader. He knows on this team. They need that
48:39Good ball denial the whilst gets it back throws it inside jayla williams struggles a bit
48:55Kildas alexander to the ram shot blocked by turner but a goal then
48:58That left hand does he get it to the glass just in time, but if you're okay sam
49:11Where is jayla williams?
49:13J-dub has to have his presence felt in this game. It can't just be all sga
49:19Midmard short hartenstein the rebound rich there's been times in this game where he's rubbing the right wrist and missed two weeks with tendinitis
49:27He was rubbing it on the bench a short time ago
49:34Sga splits the defense kicks it out. There's williams on the bounce
49:39Dort throws up another three that one way off
49:42hartenstein the rebound neesmith just jumps on top of him
49:49This game has turned into a slugfest here in the first half
49:58well this tip is going to be difficult because
50:00uh
50:11you
