Madhya Pradesh: Heart-wrenching video shows boy holding saline bottle for ailing father at Tikamgarh District Hospital — staff suspended

A distressing video from Tikamgarh District Hospital has exposed shocking negligence in patient care. The viral clip shows a small child standing on a hospital bed, holding his father's saline bottle because the hospital lacked a proper stand.

The patient, Pappu Ahirwar from Sundarpur village, was admitted with fever and loose motion. In the absence of basic medical equipment, his young son was forced to act as a stand during treatment. The video, now widely circulated on social media, has sparked outrage over the hospital's condition.

Following the viral footage, Collector held an emergency meeting and visited the hospital. Ward boy Mahesh Vanshkar, on duty at the time, was suspended and attached to Palera Health Center. Notices were also issued to three staff nurses for explanation.

Dr. Ankur Sahu, Assistant Manager of the hospital, confirmed the action and assured that such negligence will not be tolerated.
