00:00A clip from the viral social media video allegedly featuring Chief Secretary Farley Augustine
00:14and opposition leader Kamala Bissasa, PNM-Tobago council political leader Ansel Dennis has
00:20described the incident as, I told you so.
00:23Well I have nothing more to say than I told you all so. I've been saying all along that
00:31the TPP is in fact in bed with the UNC, being funded by the UNC, collaborating with the
00:42UNC for a long time now. I said at a public meeting in Mount Pleasant last night that
00:51they are actually the UNC in Tobago, identifying as TPP. So I have been saying this all along,
01:01this is nothing new and it just further demonstrates to us that sadly we cannot trust anything
01:13this Chief Secretary says to us.
01:15Meanwhile, Minority Leader Kelvin Morris told the TV6 News that the contents of the
01:21recording are both troubling and concerning.
01:23This is again, as I said, very, very concerning, very troubling that just recently we were
01:31being told categorically there is absolutely no collaboration, no conversation with the
01:38UNC. And here it is, there's some purported audio recording that is basically exposing
01:48something that is quite different from what we were being told.
01:52Mr. Morris said that the leaked voice note, which is alleged to feature TPP leader Farley
01:58Augustine and opposition leader Kamala Bissasa, did not surprise him.
02:03I am not very surprised because we've been having credible information that the TPP is
02:13in fact the UNC representative in Tobago.
02:17Efforts to contact TPP leader Farley Augustine for comment on the matter were unsuccessful.
02:22Just a week ago, in an interview with TV6 News, Chief Secretary and TPP leader Farley
02:28Augustine denied any discussions with the UNC, stating that the TPP stands alone, will
02:35win alone and lose alone.
