01:06On February 1st, Montano announced that after the video of his 2025 Roadmatch Contender
01:19Party hit 1.5 million views, he would be putting on a private live performance event for the
01:26winner of a social media video competition.
01:35Two weeks later, the competition closed and public voting on the top three entries began.
01:41But after one of those finalists decided to give all their votes to the NCPD, Montano
01:47announced this week that out of 18,000 votes, a 52% win went to the NCPD.
01:54Their one-minute-long video entry has since gotten more than one million views online.
02:55The school says the students and staff were overwhelmed by the public support and attention
03:01they have been receiving as a result of the competition.
03:04They say not only has this all been an incredible opportunity and experience for the 191 students
03:11at the school, but it has put a lot of focus on the challenges persons with disabilities
03:16face, and more so, provided a public forum to amplify their cause and really show that
03:23it's all about a person's abilities and not their disability.
03:28At the center, students are given skills training in fields like woodwork, beauty culture, office
03:34admin, agriculture, welding, and more.
03:37But on Friday, the classroom was closed and Montano did the teaching on stage, song, dance,
03:44and togetherness through soca music.
03:54Somebody say, hey!
03:57Ah!
03:58When I fess it up, I just do it like a...
04:03Somebody scream!
