00:00None of the authorities have denied the existence of a purported order allowing former Prime

00:06Minister Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his jail term under house arrest.

00:12This is what Najib's son, Nizar, said at the pro-Najib gathering at the Malawati Convention

00:20Nizar said, if the order was indeed not genuine, a police report would have been lodged over

00:25Najib's claim.

00:27He reiterated that he personally saw a copy of the order given to him by the Pahang Palace

00:33after he had an audience with Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

00:38Najib is currently serving a reduced six-year prison sentence halved by the pardons board

00:43from the initial 12 years.

00:46On January 6 next year, the Court of Appeal will hear Najib's application for leave to

00:51adduce fresh evidence in his appeal to serve the remainder of his jail term under house

00:56arrest.

00:57Najib's son, Nazif Uddin, said he was told that more than 200 busloads of his father's

01:02supporters will attend a rally to support the former Prime Minister on the same day.
