00:06in connection with his bid to enforce a royal addendum placing him under house arrest.
00:12In an affidavit filed in connection with the application, Najib said no affidavit had been
00:17affirmed with sufficient evidence to prove that national security would be threatened
00:21without a gag order.
00:24Najib also said that to date, no one had made any seditious remarks against the young Dipertuan
00:29Agong or the royal institution over the addendum issue.
00:34Last month, the Court of Appeal granted Najib leave to initiate judicial review proceedings
00:39to compel the government to execute a supplementary decree issued by the previous king, Al-Sultan
00:44Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
00:47The government is seeking a gag order to restrain the public from discussing Najib's addendum
00:52case.
00:54It has also sought leave to appeal against the appeals court's decision.
