00:00Having won the series already, the West Indies made some changes for the third
00:04ODI at Warner Park with caps being given to bat to Amir Jangu and left-arm
00:08pacer Judiah Blades who was a member of CCC in the regional Super 50.
00:14After putting Bangladesh into bat, the men in maroon struck early with Al Zari Joseph
00:18removing Tanzid Hassan for a duck. Then Litan Das was also dismissed by
00:24the same bowler without scoring. Soumya Sarkar and captain Mehdi Hassan
00:32Miraz had to come to their team's rescue. The two had a stand with 136 runs for
00:39the third wicket. Miraz hit 77 runs while Sarkar made 73 and that is great
00:48awareness and adjustment after seeing the field. But the West Indies did make a
00:53small comeback as it became 171 for 5. But then came Mahmoodullah and Jaqar Ali
01:01to frustrate the Caribbean team. They were looking quite
01:07solid out in the middle and scoring at a decent rate. The two put on an
01:15unbroken stand of 150 to take Bangladesh to 321 for 5.
01:19Mahmoodullah made 84 not out and Ali an unbeaten 62. When the West Indies
01:25responded a mix-up between Alec Athenaeus and Brandon King led to the
01:29run out of the latter for 15. More trouble followed and the hosts
01:35were soon 31 for 3. Casey Carty and Shilfie Rutherford had a mini
01:43partnership with 55 runs for the fourth wicket.
01:49With the fall of Rutherford for 30, the
01:51Windies were in a pickle at 86 for 4. It meant Carty and new boy
01:57Django had their work cut out for them. And the two gave it their all
02:04out in the middle with a stand of 132. The Southpaw was growing in confidence
02:11and smashed his first international six here. Rishad Hussain then struck
02:18by removing Carty for 95 and Roston Chase for 12. But Django found another
02:26reliable partner in Gudakesh Moti who was doing his part with Willow in hand.
02:31Then came the big moment for Django. This maximum took the man from Trinidad
02:36and Tobago to his maiden ODI 10. Moti got the win in style to end unbeaten
02:47on 44 while Django was not out on 104. West Indies reached 325 for 6 from 45.5
02:54overs to win by four wickets to take the series 3-0.
