At THR's Women in Entertainment gala, Nikki Glaser shares her three favorite projects from honoree Nicole Kidman: 'Eyes Wide Shut,' 'Practical Magic' and the AMC intro. Plus, she shares her excitement to see Taylor Swift on the final night of the Eras Tour in Vancouver.

00:00We are here celebrating all these incredible women today.

00:03What is it like to kind of be here in this room

00:05and around all these powerhouse women?

00:07I mean, I just found out who's at my table,

00:09and I'm freaking out.

00:10Like, you know, I go to these events all the time,

00:12but this feels like the one that has the most star power at it.

00:16Pam Anderson's at my table, Anna Kendrick, Julia Fox,

00:20Brenda Song.

00:21Like, it's a who's who.

00:22And then I'm next to, like, Nicole Kidman's table.

00:26It's like, it's unreal, you know?

00:28A year ago, I wouldn't have even been

00:31in the conversation for this.

00:32So it's like, it's been, it's crazy how, like, just a year

00:35can, like, change your life, and then suddenly this is,

00:37you know, I'm giving the opening remarks to this.

00:39Like, these people have to, like, listen to me talk,

00:41and they didn't even know I existed a year ago.

00:43It's fun.

00:44I love that it's, like, a huge, like, sisterhood that,

00:46like, everyone has going on here, but it's really nice.

00:49I know you mentioned Nicole Kidman.

00:50She's being honored with the Sherri Lansing Leadership Award.

00:53What is a project of hers that really wowed you?

00:56Oh, my gosh.

01:01I mean, Eyes Wide Shut was amazing.

01:04I mean, that's the one, the first one that comes to mind.

01:06I mean, what was the Practical Magic?

01:10Was that the one that she was in?

01:11Called Classic.

01:12Yeah, she's amazing in that.

01:13I mean, like, everything she does, she's just insane.

01:17Like, and she's aging backwards.

01:19Even the AMC moment, like, has become this iconic meme moment

01:26that the other day when I went to go see Wicked,

01:30people applauded after the AMC thing.

01:35And people quote it, too.

01:36And people quote it all the time.

01:38She's just, like, someone that we've just, you know,

01:41watched for so long, but she's still, she's just timeless.

01:45And yeah, it's just incredible to be in the same room as her.

01:49Yeah, for sure.

01:49Well, speaking of female-led performances, Wicked,

01:52you said you just saw it.

01:53What did you think of it?

01:55I didn't know much going in because I just

01:57didn't grow up, like, knowing much about the musical.

02:00So I went in kind of blindly.

02:01And I loved it so much.

02:03Like, I'm just, like, I'm loving these moments where

02:06you just go into this world and disappear

02:08for, like, a really long time in this, like,

02:10girly, fun, like, fantasy world.

02:12Like, I've been to many, many ERAs tours.

02:15And it kind of felt like that same energy.

02:17Like, I got dressed up.

02:18It felt like something that it was just,

02:20it felt like a sisterhood in there, you know,

02:22even with the guys that were there.

02:23It just felt, you know, in a time where you're just kind

02:27of like, oh, this feels weird to be a woman.

02:29And maybe things aren't going the way we want it to

02:32in every other way.

02:33Like, that's just a place where you can kind of go and escape

02:34and feel like, oh, it's, everything's OK.

02:37I loved it.

02:38I mean, it was so good.

02:38I can't wait to see it again.

02:40Like, it's, it's, I saw it in IMAX.

02:41So I'm like, I got to see it on my phone.

02:43I got to see it on a regular screen.

02:44I got to see it in an airplane.

02:46Yeah, I got to see it everywhere.

02:47You got to have the wind blowing in your hair.

02:49Yes.

02:50Oh, my gosh, that's a part of it.

02:51Yes, they get the wind blowing in your hair.

02:53Go get your ticket.

02:54Oh, my God.

02:55And some mushrooms.

02:56Yeah, really live, live it.

02:58I love that.

02:58I know you spoke about the Aerosaur.

03:00Are you going to the final show?

03:01I am.

03:02I'm, you know, who knows what's going to happen?

03:05I have, I just, I have a swifty suspicion

03:09there's going to be more something.

03:10But I am going to night three in Vancouver.

03:13And I'm very sad that it's ending

03:15because it's been such a huge part of my life.

03:17I've gone to 22 shows.

03:20And so, but it's, I'm so excited.

03:23Like, I haven't felt this kind of excitement

03:25since the first one, you know?

03:26Like, it's, so who knows what's going to happen?

03:28I think it's going to be probably a six hour show

03:31with all the applauding and crying

03:33and like just us wanting to thank her

03:36for all the work she's put in.
