There could be game of musical chairs in the White House Briefing Room, because it sounds like Trump may be replacing some of the traditional media reporters with bro podcasters.

00:07Cabinet Chair with your new and improved White House Press Corps.
00:12President-elect Trump apparently discussed that he wants to shake things up in the White
00:16House Press Briefing Room and there are 49 seats in there.
00:19Donald Trump Jr. went on his podcast called Triggered.
00:22We had the conversation about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists.
00:28And podcasters like Joe Rogan, Theo Vaughn, people like that.
00:31I have to say, I think it's a good idea.
00:34Traditional media on both sides, they've all become advocates, and they just are.
00:39So it's not like everybody's doing objective reporting anyway.
00:42If there's a problem with it, there's a problem, but don't just surrender and then bring in
00:45a bunch of your cheerleaders.
00:46All the people that he just named are conservative podcasters.
00:49No, have both.
00:51Or how about have neither?
00:52How about just have a room full of objective journalists?
00:56And while we're at it, we'd also like lollipops to fall from the sky.
00:59But 49 seats, which means while the podcasters are being shown to their new seats, other
01:03reporters are going to be shown the door.
01:05Just because they've been there longer, it's like the way Congress functions.
01:08You get a committee not because you know anything about banking, but because you've been there
01:11longer.
01:12Why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships?
01:15I'm not saying do podcasters because of their views.
01:19I'm saying it because media's changed.
01:22People now get their news from podcasts.
01:24They get their news from TikToks.
01:25And love it or hate it, it is a good idea.
01:27Wait, wait, wait.
01:28Should the TMZ podcast be there?
