"Ephraham's Jazbo Band" is one of the earliest published songs to celebrate a new kind of music--jazz!

Or call it "jass" or "jas" or "jazbo"--the spelling had not been settled yet in 1916 when the song was written

It was copyright on December 9, 1916, several weeks before any jazz would be recorded.

Sung by George H. O'Connor.

Recorded February 10, 1917

Columbia A2211
