00:17In a regional forum and industry consultation in Lungsod, Butuan, as well as the TATAC-Pinoy Act of the country,
00:22various sectors agreed on the creation of a plan and strategy so that the Caragas can be more competitive in various fields.
00:30The consultation of the bodies from the private and public institutions was a success
00:34and the concerns and resolutions were discussed to address the needs of the services and industry sectors.
00:41According to Undersecretary Vlisila Lantayona of the DTI Regional Operations Group,
00:45under the TATAC-Pinoy Act, it aims to further promote the production of high-value and innovative goods and services to industries
00:52so that the Pinoys can be more competitive domestically and globally, especially the Caragas.
00:57The OASI Regional Director, Jemai Maolam, gave the National Economic and Development Authority, Caragas,
01:03the great help of the TATAC-Pinoy Act in implementing the I2FAME strategy of the region or fishery, agroforestry, mining and ecotourism.
01:11The region shall shift from being a raw material supplier towards value-adding, creation, making, manufacturing as its primary industry.
