Leeds: Would you raise a glass to more surge pricing in pubs?

Some pub chains are introducing surge pricing, where drinks are more expensive during busy times and cheaper when it’s quieter. How do you feel about this approach, and do you think it could affect your pub visits?

00:34But because I like a drink, I'll pay that extra.

00:36But I'm not very happy about it.

00:38And it's always during the week when they're low.

00:41I think they should be lower on the weekend.

00:47I don't think I've personally noticed it as much as some people have.

00:51I look at a pint and I just go, yeah, I'll just pay for it, yeah, whatever.

00:54For me it's about quality.

00:56If you can serve a quality Guinness, you've hit the mark there.
